Body Sugaring- An Alternative To Waxing

So on Friday, I took my lunch break and went to get my eyebrows threaded!!! The last lady that did them threaded them to thin for my taste so I had been letting them grow out for about 5 weesks. So I sit in the chair and the new lady commences to tell me that my eyebrows are a mess and I need to rub them with castor oil to fill the sparse areas back in. After being lost in translation for a minute (she was Indian), I finally realized that this BISH really just said my eyebrows were a MESS!!!!! I let her finish her job, paid the tab, still gave her @ss a tip and left!!!! When I got home, I got my straight razor blade and started to fix the whack job she did on my brows!!!! My babies are perfect now but, I'm looking for a new eyebrow tech.

The chick at my job told me about "Eyebrow Sugaring" and it sparked my curiosity. Have any of my readers had this done? If so, lease tell me your experience in the comments section. For those, who like me, have NEVER heard about this process, here is a little article from Sweet Sensation Houston about exactly what it is. I located a shop in Atlanta that does this but I'm not about to pay $15 to get my eyebrows done!!! Read on:

What is Body Sugaring?

Based on a technique developed thousands of years ago in the middle east, Body Sugaring is a gentle and effective form of hair removal, using a natural ingredient - sugar. Sugar has an antiseptic function preventing bacteria from thriving. That is one reason why sugar dressings have been used to treat patients with wounds such as severe burns that are susceptible to infections. The results - reduced healing time and dramatically diminished scarring. The healing properties of sugar continue to benefit the skin in the Body Sugaring unique hair removal process.


You'll witness the difference after your first treatment by its gentle action on your skin. Most people find that sugaring does not hurt. However, the first time you sugar it may feel as though you are pulling off a Band-Aid (particularly if you have always shaved). Don’t give up. Sugaring weakens the hair root making it easier to remove the hair with each treatment. By your third sugaring treatment, you too will find it virtually pain free! Sugaring Hair Removal Paste is gentle enough to repeat on same area if a few strands of hair remain. Skin may be slightly pink after removing the hair but should return to normal within 24 hours.


Skin must be clean of all creams and/or oils before beginning your hair removal treatment. The time between treatments will be anywhere from three to five weeks, if you are new to Body Sugaring. That period will increase, even after a few months of sugaring. To ensure successful sugaring, hair growth must be at least a 1/4" or 6 mm to effectively remove hair by the root.


Sugaring ingredients include: sugar, fresh lemon juice and water. Sugar has proven healing qualities and bacteria can not grow in large amounts of it. Citric acid (from lemon juice) is a mild astringent used to tighten and firm the skin; when the skin is firm the hair is removed more easily and gently. Sugaring is easily cleaned because it's water soluble. Sugaring not only removes the unwanted hair, it also removes dead skin cells, leaving the skin smooth and silky, which makes moisturizing more effective. If this layer of flaking or dead skin is not removed, applying moisturizers brings little or no benefit to the good layers underneath.

How happy am I that I am not a teeny-bopper anymore!!!!!! What is this new mess of a look that these little girls are popping off? Sneakers and poofy prom dresses?!?!?! They would do better if they wore lace ankle socks and leather pumps like Madonna with "Like a Virgin" on MTV in the 80's. I'm not a fan of this look at all. No matter how you mix it up or what kind of sneaks you wear- it will always be a HOT MESS!!!!!!!! So, unfortunately, I will NOT be giving style tips on where to find dresses similar to this and how to rock them best- THEY ARE BEST ROCKED ON OCTOBER 31st!!!!

The HOT GHETTO MESS that is BET Spring Bling took place in Riviera Beach, FL over the weekend. I had actually considered going to this ish and I'm so glad I passed and stayed in rainy ATL. If Rocsi and Toccara are any indication of what else was roaming around the beach, it was a wise decision.

If Toccara is going to loose all of that weight, she may want to consider a boob reduction!!! Those things aren't going to be able to hold up too much longer on her Spongebob shape.

Ursh, Eek, and The Family.... minus the baby of course

I could only stomach so much of the Kid's Choice Awards over the weekend. My daughter was ALL into the show, especially Hannah Montana (who is known in my house as Hannah STANKtana because I'm sick of how her little stankin @ss has hypnotized my child's mind that she needs everything that says Hannah Montana). So, yall won't be getting a review of the awards from me- I was over it!!!!! LOL!!!! I did see this photo over at ConcreteLoop. It's Usher and the family- minus the new baby!!!!!! Tameka's boys are too adorable- they must look like they daddy!!!!! I don't see how Tameka was ever a fashion stylist. Her outfits are always OFF and her style of choice is always skinny jeans and a maternity looking shirt!!!! Her boots look hot in this photo but they just aren't working with that shirt.


Word is she is asking Essence for $2 Million for the first photos of her baby (and you know I NEVER belive MTO but this just sounds true.) Anyway, good luck with that Tameka. Maybe when the child was newborn but he is damn near 6 months old now. GIRL STOP!!!!!



And speaking of when we will see children, how much yall wanna bet that Halle will introduce little Nahla to the world on The Oprah Winfrey Show?!? I don't think that People or US Weekly will get the exclusive, I think Halle will make the grand introduction to Oprah's audience, which will net more in advertising revenue than any of the magazine could ever offer her. We shall see. I know I want to see the new little baby. Did any of yall catch her baby daddy Gabriel in the new Macy's commercial?!?!? Mariah and Martha Stewart were ALL into Gabriel when Calvin Klein was walking him around the Macy's store- and he is kind of hot!!!!

Sean Levert Dead At Age 39

Sean Levert, brother of Gerald Levert, reportedly died last night. Details are very sketchy right now, some are saying he was found dead at jail, but the official report is that he was taken from a Cuyahoga County Jail to Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland where he was pronounced dead at 11:57pm. Sean had reported to jail to begin serving his sentence for not paying $80k in child support. An autopsy will be performed today to determine the exact cause of death. UPDATE: Columbus Has No Love For Plies....... or Keyshia Cole

UPDATE: Apparently Columbus also has no love for Keyshia Cole. Cole performed a total of about 20-30 minutes. This after she arrived 2 hours late (per J in the comments section). Tickets prices were all the way up to about $75 and folks were calling into the radio station this morning complaining about Key Key's lack of performance. Morning Show host Paul Strom also discussed how horrible he heard her attitude was at previous Radio One stations and that's why she wasn't interviewed on the morning show. Folks are saying Keyshia Cole needs not EVER come back to 614!!!!! Keyshia first played Columbus by canceling her original concert in January. Folks still showed her love when she rescheduled for the March date and they purchased tickets. For the fans that did remain to see Plies, they were pleased with him performing his ENTIRE cd!!!!!

So, last night Keyshia Cole and Plies held their conecrt at Veteran's Memorial in Columbus, Ohio. Sources tell me that Plies missed his flight so, after the opening act, Keyshia Cole came out and performed. She ripped her set but things were supposedly cut short when Plies finally arrived. Keyshia only performed about 6 songs and then exited the stage for Plies to begin his set-up!!!!!! (I know Keyshia was PISSED!!!!!!! If she refused to open for Ne-yo in Columbus, Georgia a few months back then I know she was sick when her headlining show became an opening act for Plies).


From what I've been told, Columbus WASN'T HAVING IT!!!!!! Folks started chanting "Keyshia, Keyshia, Keyshia" and, when they realized she wasn't coming back out, half the crowd began to exit the venue and even telling members of Power 107.5 (the radio station that promoted the concert) how displeased they were with the "wack-ass" concert, due to Plies ending Keyshia's set!!!!! Keyshia did apologize to Columbus before leaving the stage and, when Plies began his performance, he apologized to Keyshia for having her end her set early.


I was told that Plies did his usual- took his shirt off, performed HIS WHOLE CD INCLUDING REMIXES, and asked who wanted to take him home. He did let the ladies of Columbus know he is very selective and he wouldn't be going to anyone's house that had clothes everywhere or Pampers all over. The selected female would have to first cook him breakfast and then he would allow her to "rape him"!!!!!!! WOW......anyway, be on the lookout for Plies new, sexy clothing line entitled "Bust It Baby" to be hitting a flea market near you!!!!! (I'm going to holla at some of my folks in the CO and see if we can get some photos from the concert/afterparty)

Now, it must be my weird taste but......... I'm really feeling Jade's hair color and fierce cut!!!!!! I know the 2-toned hair so last year but something about this is just real fly to me. I'm looking straight past her "poofy prom dress". It's crazy b/c Rihanna could have on the EXACT same outfit (looks like something she would wear) and hairstyle and folks would be STAN'ing for days!!!!!! Plus, Rihanna's fake titties would hold it up much better than Jade's saggy babies. Anywho........ how much yall wanna bet Cheri Dennis will be the first one to copy and merk this hairstyle?!?!?!?!?

From Access Atlanta: On May 4, Atlanta will host a star-studded 80th birthday celebration for poet and author Maya Angelou. And Buzz has learned exclusively that the evening will also serve as the inaugural fund-raiser for a brand-new teen center to be named in Angelou’s honor at the Andrew and Walter Young YMCA on Campbellton Road.

"Maya Angelou is the embodiment of who she’s writing about in her poem ‘Phenomenal Woman,’ " Andrew Young told Buzz. "It also pretty much describes what we’re shooting for with the new center as well. For a while now, we’ve wanted to create a teen center at the Y in a supervised environment. Sometimes in the black community, poverty is not necessarily economic but something based in self-esteem. I look at some of the rappers and hip-hop artists out there now who have money but still don’t have it together. It’s because no one taught them the importance of self-esteem. Hopefully, with this center, we can create change."

The evening at Atlanta Symphony Hall will be hosted by Atlanta film director Tyler Perry and his "Madea’s Family Reunion" scene stealer Lynn Whitfield. Other confirmed celebs include "Rush Hour" star Chris Tucker, Tony-winning choreographer George Faison, pop star Usher, "Soul Food" actress Nicole Ari Parker, R&B and gospel singer Candi Staton, writer Pearl Cleage and MLK’s daughter Bernice King.

Comment of the Day: The Lawyer That Got Remy Convicted

The victim's attorney, Lauren P. Raysor, is speaking out about the verdict that could result in a lengthy jail term for Remy Ma.

"Today justice has been served. This process has been draining upon my client.From the beginning, the defense has tried to portray Ms. Ma as the victim. The jury saw through it and has sent a message to those in the recording industry who do not feel they should abide by the same rules as the rest of us."

"It is time to put an end to this senseless cycle of violence that is glorified by hip-hop marketing."

WTF?!?!? How about this is a message to those chicks that pose as friends and then try to do slick ish like steal your man or your money- BISH YOU WILL GET YOUR @SS SHOT!!!!!!!! The violence that is glorified in the hip-hop community is the same violence that is a reality for so many folks in communities around this country!!!! If you want to put a stop to it being glorified in the hip-hop community put more programs for the kids into the community, put more money into the schools, do something positive and positive results will follow. People KILL me always trying to blame hip-hop. Hip-Hop didn't kill 4000 soldiers in Iraq- BUSH DID!!!!!!

TI had a look of victory yesterday afternoon as he left court. Even though he still has to serve time and has alot of community service to do, it's still a HELL OF ALOT better than the time he was looking at initially.

TI smiled, waved at fans, and even took the time out to hug Atlanta Hot 107.9 Radio personality Rashan Ali, who's haircut is real relaxed and super FLY in this photo!!!!! Makes me want to cut all of mine off again!!!!

UPDATE: TI ENTERS GUILTY PLEA- WILL BE SENTENCED MARCH 2009

FROM AJC: Atlanta rapper T.I. today pleaded guilty to three weapons charges in federal court in Atlanta. T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., entered his plea shortly after 1:30 p.m. He pleaded guilty to two counts of illegally possessing machine guns and silencers, and one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

"While I'm not looking forward to being incarcerated, I have a long road of redemption to travel," Harris said, reading a statement outside the Atlanta federal courthouse shortly before 3 p.m. "I am dedicated and committed to that."

U.S. District Court Judge Charles Pannell Jr. scheduled Harris' sentencing a year from now, on March 27, 2009. If Harris abides by the conditions set in his plea agreement, he will receive a prison sentence of one year plus one day. Because the sentence is longer than one year, Harris will be eligible to earn 15 percent time off for good behavior.Harris also was fined $100,000.

Over the next year, Harris must perform at least 1,000 hours of community service, which includes speaking to "at-risk young people," promoting respect for law enforcement, and opposing violence, illegal and reckless use of firearms, illegal drugs and gang activity.After the plea, U.S. Attorney David Nahmias said Harris' agreement to speak to young people about the mistakes he has made should prevent and deter some from committing crimes and ruining their own lives.

This unusual type of outreach, Nahmias said, merits a sentence reduction for Harris, just as it would another defendant whose cooperation helps prosecutors obtain a conviction.

Harris did not make any statements during the hearing, offering only polite replies of "yes" and "no" to the judge's questions.

"Are you guilty of these charges?" Panell asked Harris.

"Yes, your Honor," said Harris, who donned a gray suit at the hearing.

If Harris does not abide by the terms of the plea agreement, Panell can sentence him up to 57 months in prison. In addition, Harris could face a sentence of up yo 97 months in prison if Panell finds that Harris has not accepted responsibility for his actions.

So the blogs streets have been blazing this week with the bom that dropped regarding Wendy, her husband, and her talent booker Nicole Spence. Well, when bombs drop, folks come out the woodwork to offer their 2 cents.

Dr Drew received an email from one of Wendy's former interns that paints a vivid picture of what interning for the diva is like. From sitting double parked in her Bentley while she goes into the MAC Store to working 11am-7pm with no breaks, to returning clothing items for Wendy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Necole Bitchie also has the scoop the Wendy may be suspended INDEFINITELY due to the recent allegations??!!! It's may just be me but, if Wendy is getting suspended, shouldn't they also suspend the other folks at the station that turned a blind eye when Nicole was complaining about the harrassment?!?!?!

Nicole has been painted as a loose, opportunist who wants her own fame but, in my eyes, no matter how much of a H0E one may be perceived to be, that doesn't allow any man to disrespect her to the point that Nicole allegedly got harrassed. This story is just beginning, yall. Expect more folks to come out and spew h@te all over Wendy's @ss. You reap what you sow and Wendy has been sowing into folks for YEARS!!!!!

Kimora FINALLY Files!!!!

Kimora Lee Simmons has filed for divorce. Kimora and Russell seperated in 2006 after 15 years of marriage and Kimora is citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce. She is also seeking physical custody of the couple's 2 daughters, Ming Lee and Aoki Lee. Both Russell and Kimora are currently involved in serious public relationships.

In court papers, Kimora, 32, cites irreconcilable differences and asks for legal and physical custody of the couple's two daughters, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5. She requests that Simmons, 50, get "reasonable child visitation … to be accompanied at all times by the children's nanny and security personnel. (SOURCE)

TI To Plead GUILTY Today!!!

Via AJC: Atlanta rapper T.I. today is expected to enter a plea of guilty to multiple weapons charges, according to a person familiar with negotiations between prosecutors and the rapper's defense team. T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., is scheduled to enter his plea at 1:30 p.m. today at the federal courthouse in Atlanta. When he is sentenced at a later date, Harris faces certain prison time.


Harris was indicted in October on weapons charges that include illegally possessing three machine guns and two silencers and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Federal prosecutors and Harris' defense team have been engaged in intense plea negotiations the past several weeks. The plea agreement must be approved by a federal judge. The case has been assigned to U.S. District Court Judge Charles Pannell Jr., who will preside over today's plea.

Harris was arrested in a sting in a Midtown parking lot on Oct. 13 as he allegedly tried to buy the weapons just hours before he was to receive two top awards at the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta.

Via Necole Bitchie: The 27-year-old rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris, is expected to be sentenced to 1,500 hours of community service talking to youth groups around the country, followed by about 12 months in prison. The two people familiar with the negotiations spoke on condition of anonymity because the plea deal had not been finalized yet Thursday morning.

WTF?!?!?! An Oregon Man Is Having A Baby Girl?!?!?

I saw this story over at Panache Report this morning and decided to Google it. Not only did I find out more than I wanted to know, I also saw a story about a Manhattan man that is pregnant as well. WTF?!?!?! I just had to share this with yall. Form your own opinion- I'm not even going to go on one of my rants about this mess!!!! Read on:



An Oregon man they have said "we have verified the pregnancy with Mr. Beatie’s gynecologist". The man (Mr. Beatie shown above) is expecting a baby girl around July 3, 2008 and the catch is he used to be a woman but now is a transgender male. Legally Mr. Beatie has changed sex to a male, so that does mean this Oregon man is pregnant…how weird is that?
He married Nancy Beatie legally but because she cannot carry a baby, they decided Mr. Beatie would have the baby because when he changed sex the vagina was kept (the breasts were surgically removed).He is a Transgender pregnant male, but what do you make of this and do you think keeping a vagina still classes you as a man?

So, supposedly R. Kelly has a new song called "Braid My Hair" and it's a tribute to all of the women that have braided his hair over the years. I saw a casting for the video and tried to see if I could locate the song to hear the foolishness but I had no luck. The video is supposedly being shot in Chicago this weekend. We shall see!!!!!! Nate Dogg Gets 3 Years

Nate Dogg has been sentenced to 3 years probation after pleading guilty last week to charges of trespassing and battery. The charges stem from a domestic violence complaint filed in 2006 when he broke into his ex-girlfriend's house and beat up her new lover. The new lover and Nate's ex also filed restraining orders against him. In addition to the probation, Nate dogg will have to complete a domestic violence treatment program and he was ordered to not own a weapon for 10 years. .........Smoke Weed Everyday........ LOL!!! That's all he can do now!!!!

Usher Walking Tameka His Dog- RINGLESS!!!!!!

Shoutout to the homie LaShonda over at The E Biz for sending this over. Usher was spotted out in Hollywood walking his dog, no not Tameka, som other little ugly dog. Anyway, we all know that when Tameka is MIA- so is the wedding ring. That's right, yall, no ring was spotted once again!!!!!! Tameka was also said to be on her usual wrath on the set of the "Love in the Club" video. Usher hand picked singer/songwriter Keri Hilson to play his love interest in the video and Tameka was said to be very jealous. Supposedly a source told PageSix.com that "Tameka is very insecure" and this is the reason she was a bit jealous watching Usher and Keri!!!! Nicole Spence's Complaint Released: This is better than Superhead's First Book!!!!

The papers Nicole Spence filed in court have been released. Thanks to the homie DR. Drew over at Drew Reports for hitting me up with the info. I read through the papers and, as Dr. Drew says "Wendy has alot of explaining to do". In the papers, Nicole alleges alot of things including that "WENDY FORCED A SUBORDINATE TO HAVE SEX WITH HER TO KEEP HIS JOB"..... could that subordinate be Charlamagne The God?!?!? Hmmm.... Also, alleged in the papers is that Big Kev, Wendy's husband, verbally threatened Nicole and enlisted other employees to harrass her as well. Nicole also claims that her job duties were reduced and Wendy refused to work with any of the acts Nicole booked for her or speak with Nicole about the bookings. Wendy has also allegedly ordered Nicole to cancel guests up to one hour prior to the show without any notice or reason, trying to damage Nicole's reputation. New York's New Governor: Legally Blind; Had An Affair; Smoked Weed; and Tried Cocaine!!!!

From AJC: New York's new governor, who disclosed last week that he and his wife both committed adultery several years ago, said Monday that he used cocaine in his 20s and smoked marijuana when he was younger.In reference to cocaine, Gov. David Paterson, 53, said in a television interview that he "tried it a couple of times" when he was "about 22 or 23."
Gov. David Paterson and his wife have disclosed they each had affairs years ago.

"And marijuana probably when I was about 20," he said on the NY1 cable news station. "I don't think I touched marijuana since the '70s."

"More Americans have tried a lot more during that period of time and gone on to lead responsible lives and hopefully have lived their lives to their fullest," he said.

Paterson was lieutenant governor under Gov. Eliot Spitzer, who resigned last week amid a prostitution scandal.Last week, Paterson and his wife, Michelle Paterson, disclosed they each had strayed from the marriage years ago. The couple were separated for a "couple years" at the time, David Paterson said Monday. In Monday's interview, Paterson pointed out that he had acknowledged to a television journalist in 2006 that he had used illegal drugs. The NY1 interviewer, Dominic Carter, noted that few people paid attention to Paterson's revelation then because he was running for lieutenant governor.

Remy Ma: "It Was An Accident"

Remy Ma has always proclaimed her innocence in the shooting of her friend Makeda Barnes-Jones but yesterday, during closing arguments, her lawyer ADMITTED that the rapper had indeed fired the weapon but claimed the gun discharged by accident during a fight. Remy Ma shot her friend outside of a Manhattan nightclub last year and left the victim critically wounded. Jury deliberation is set to begin today and Remy faces up to 25 years in prison. Raymond Soriano Landscape has filed legal documents in a Los Angeles small claims court, alleging the star owes the company unspecified "landscaping expenses" for work carried out at her property between July 2007 and February 2008.A trial date has been set for April 22nd.

Hot Easter Sunday MESS

Most folks put on the "Sunday Best" for Easter church service. You would think that, right?!?! Well, let's take for example this hot @ss mess that is Lil Scrappy and Diamond. I guess they thought they were attending a taping of "PIMPS UP, H0ES DOWN" and not church. What's sad is that Diamond wasn't the only one who came ill-dressed for church yesterday.

If I can tell yall how many chicks I walked past in skinny jeans and F*ck me pumps and guys with their jean shorts saggin below their waists- WTF?!?!?!?! Kids were walking around with their I-pods in their ears and talking loud like it was a social gathering WHILE Bishop Eddie Long was leading a prayer. Come as you are but at least come ready to receive the word. It wasn't CLUB NEW BIRTH, although I did have to remind myself that a few times!!!!


Back to the hot ghetto mess that is Scrappy and Diamond. First of all, it wasn't that cold outside yesterday to have on rabbit fur. And, furthermore, if it's nice enough to wear Payless pumps and a mini-dress, then the fur should've been left back on the Black Easter Bunny. Scrappy invested all that money in his fake teeth and he STILL can't close his mouth!!!!! D@MN SHAME!!!! He needs to go see Luda or 50 Cent's dentist and get them Veneers done right!!!! And the blue eye shadow???? That's the icing on the cake!!!!!! It looks like Diamond got her hair and make-up done by a local 7 year old. If ya knew better, you'd do better. I hope they at least took in some of what Bishop Eddie Long preached about.

She went to the "Heart of the City" Tour this past Saturday and sent in some exclusive photos live from the show that were so good, it made me feel like I was right there for it all!!!!!! TI Enjoys Easter Sunday

I went to Easter Sunday services held at the the Georgia Dome yesterday. Being black, I got there late and left early (LOL). But, seriously, I had rethought my decision to go because I didn't want to fight the traffic and the number of people that I knew would be there but I had to realize that if Jesus thought only of himself, we all would not be here today so I got myself an the kids dressed and we headed to the GA Dome. Here is the view from where we were seated:

Sandra Rose got exclusive photos of TI attending Easter Sunday church service at the Georgia Dome yesterday. Ti, Tiny, and their family attended the service as a part of the congregation and TI spoke and asked for "forgiveness for his sins". I didn't get a chance to hear him speak, but I listened to an excerpt of his speech on the radio this morning and TI kept it real, kept it hood, and ended by saying "Be Easy"!!!! From AJC: T.I.'s lawyers say evidence collected against him and statements he made to authorities were illegally obtained.

The lawyers have filed motions seeking to suppress evidence seized from his vehicle and statements he made on the day of his arrest.

A suppression hearing is scheduled for Monday, but federal prosecutors have asked for it to be postponed until April 4 because of scheduling conflicts involving two of their witnesses. The government says the defense has consented to the postponement. U.S. Magistrate Judge Alan Baverman has yet to rule on that request.

From Bossip per WSBTV ATLANTA: Rapper T.I. didn't get to host a Thanksgiving gathering at the suburban home where is under house arrest while awaiting trial on weapons charges, but he is being allowed to attend an Easter service.

A federal magistrate judge ruled Thursday that T.I., whose given name is Clifford Harris, can be away from home from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday so he can attend a service sponsored by New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

Court documents say the service had been planned to be held at the Georgia Dome in downtown Atlanta, but because of tornado damage at the dome it may have to be held at the church's Lithonia location. ( The location hasn't changed. It will still be held at the Georgia Dome)

The judge says T.I. must be accompanied during the excursion by a court-approved monitor and one of his attorneys.

T.I. was arrested in 2007 just hours before he was to take the stage at the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta.

He was arrested in a shopping center parking lot where federal officials say he planned to pick up three machine guns and two silencers he had his bodyguard buy for him.

While "site-seeing" over at Concreteloop, I saw Usher and Tameka were spotted out shopping in Hollywood, again, sans Usher IV.

Usher was also spotted on the set of "Love in the Club" with his stepson, Tameka's son from her prior marriage. Good to see Usher spending time with one of the kids. It's funny how we see Usher with Tameka's son but we NEVER see Tameka with ANY of her kids, including the new little baby.

Maybe one day we will get lucky and get a family flick of all 4 kids with Mom and Dad/Step-Daddy.......... I know, I have a better chance of hitting the mega-millions

From Superior Pics: SHAR JACKSON is planning to launch a hip-hop career, after discovering she can rap on reality tv show CELEBRITY RAP SUPERSTAR. Kevin Federline's actress ex-wife was already planning to release an album of her singing material, but the record will now include a hip-hop flavor.

She says, "I didn't even know I could rap. That was a shock to me. Now that people enjoy it, I'm going to have a little fun.

"I am doing an album. At first, it was going to be just all singing, but I think we may be featuring MC Shar J. The album will drop early spring (08). I'm excited." Shar will hope to fare better in the rap world than Federline, whose attempt to reinvent himself as a hip-hop star ended in failure.

WTF: The Toilet Seat Was STILL Attached........?!?!?!

From AJC: A Kansas man whose girlfriend authorities say spent nearly two years in a bathroom in their house, sitting on the toilet so long that the seat adhered her body, has been charged with mistreatment of a dependent adult.

Kory McFarren, 37, was charged Monday in Ness County District Court. McFarren called the Ness County Sheriff's Office in late February to say something was wrong with his girlfriend. When authorities arrived at the home, they found Pam Babcock, 35, stuck to the toilet, which they think she had sat on for about a month.

McFarren told authorities that Babcock feared leaving the bathroom and may not have left it in two years, although said he was unsure how long she was in there. He said that he took her food and water daily, and that he repeatedly asked her to come out but that she usually replied "maybe tomorrow."

Authorities said Babcock sat on the toilet so long that open sores developed and caused her to become attached to the seat. Sheriff Bryan Whipple has said that he used a pry bar to remove the seat from the toilet, and that the woman was taken to the hospital with the seat still attached.

"She would have to be sleeping on the toilet," Whipple said.

Doctors at a Wichita hospital where Babcock was taken told McFarren that an infection in her legs had damaged her nerves and could leave her in a wheelchair. She was still at the hospital Wednesday night.McFarren's first court appearance will be in April, Crosswhite said.

2008 SpringFest CANCELLED!!!!!!

For those of you who have been awaiting the dates of the Radio One/ AG Entertainment Springfest for 2008, word is the event has been cancelled. The reason the event was cancelled is that Radio One sold their urban radio station in Miami and they were the biggest sponsors for the event. Hopefully, the event will be relocated to another city for next year. I went to Springfest a few years back and had a great time!! My homegirl and I were going to go down this year just to have an excuse to take a trip to MIA in April but I guess those plans are NIX'd right now!!!!

From CNN: Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis reached out to Ashley Alexandra Dupre, now 22, with an offer of $1 million to appear in a non-nude spread for his company's new magazine, plus a chance to join the "Girls Gone Wild" tour bus, his company announced Tuesday. According to a "Girls Gone Wild" press release, Dupre visited Miami in 2003 to celebrate her 18th birthday. After fighting with a friend and getting thrown out of her hotel, Dupre found a nearby "Girls Gone Wild" bus, the company said. She signed legal papers and spent a full week on the bus, filming seven full-length tapes that included nudity and same-sex encounters, according to the company.

Word on the wire right now is that Halle Berry named her new little baby girl CLARA STELLA BERRY-AUBRY. Well alrighty then. Clara Stella is one of those names that should've been retired back when Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat. Halle must've had a flashback to her QUEEN days, when she was playing a plantation slave house blanka. I'm sure that's a grandma or great grandma's name that Halle wanted to pass down. Either way, little CLARA STELLA is the talk of the town and I would bet she's the cutest thing Hollywood has seen since Garcelle's little twins. Is this what the music game has come to? Are record sales that low that artists who still go platinum are forced to sell tickets to their DRESS REHEARSAL?!?!?! According to New Times Broward-Palm Beach, Jay-Z and Mary J Blige are selling tickets to their dress/ stage rehearsal for $65-$95-$160!!!!!! The tickets to the show are already sold out but, instead of adding another show, I guess Mary and Jay said "F*ck It- We have to rehearse the d@mn songs anyway so why not make money off of our rehearsal?!" Definitely CAN'T KNOCK THE HUSTLE (no pun intended) but I would like to see the fools who would really pay for this ish!!!!! I sure hope this isn't true but, I really wouldn't put it past them...... Rick Ross Beats Snoop!!!!

According to Generation Hip-Hop, Rick Ross' sophomore cd beat out Snoop "Ego Trippin". Ross sold an impressive 127k albums while Snoop went on to sell 80k. I think this may have a little bit to do with the fact that Snoop's album was being sold for $15.99 at Target. He definitely lost a buyer in me when I saw that price. And, with gas prices as high as they are, I sure wasn't going to drive around looking for the best price on his cd. Not that anyone cares but Fat Joe sold 33k.

Speaking of album sales, Rocko Da Don's cd is being released today. I'm going to take a rough guess and put his 1st week numbers at 40k. I swear, once some of these artists get out of the 404/678/770 area code (Atlanta for those not from here), I wonder about their celebrity. Rocko's album release party tonight is being dubbed "the most anticipated" but by who????? I know I'm staying my sick @ss right in the house!!! LMAO!!!! I wonder how these artists feel when someone like non-rapping @ss Soulja Boy is pushing major units!!! Hmmm......

Also, let me share with you a new beauty secret my homegirl told me about. A few weeks ago, I spent $22 on Fiberwig mascara from Sephora. At first I LOVED my new mascara. Fiberwig has tiny fibers that attach to your real lashes and make them longer and thicker. I call it my "eyelase-weave'!!! LMAO!!!!! Well, Maybelline has the same type of product that I got on sale at Target for $6!!!!!! It's the Maybelline XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara. A tip from me to you- only use the black side or your lashes will look black and white striped and be all clumpy!!!! So I wasted $22 on the Fiberwig but I'm glad I found a new, cheaper version. If only now I can find my receipt so I can take that is right back to Sephora!!!!!!!!

Jermaine Dupri is "My Brutha's Keeper"?

Peachtree TV seems to be the the home of ATL-based producer reality tv shows. First Dallas Austin had a hit with his reality show Drum Roll and now Jermaine Dupri is set to kick off his new reality tv series called "Brutha" or "My Brutha's Keeper" on March 24th. (I'm confused about the name b/c I have seen both listed as the name of the show). Anyway, the group consists of 5 members (Grady, Anthony, J.R, Pop, and Jake) of the Harrell music family. I couldn't find much on this reality series.

D12 & Sean P. Manager Arrested Getting His "R. Kelly" On

From LA Times: Entertainment manager Jeremy Nathaniel Geffen has been arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department on suspicion of three sexual assaults involving two 16-year-old girls, investigators said Friday.

Geffen, 35, was being held in lieu of $1.11-million bail and is expected to be arraigned Monday on felony charges that he assaulted the two teenagers after spells of drinking and socializing, said Lt. Felicia Hall.The alleged assaults took place at nightclubs in the Hollywood area and at Geffen's West Hollywood home, Hall said. Police are also investigating allegations that other young women may have been victimized.

Reached by cellphone late Friday, Geffen's attorney, Danny Davis, said: "I strongly respect my client's presumption of innocence. "I like to think I specialize in cases of innocent clients, and that is why I am attracted to this case."

Geffen told police that his company is called Geffen Enterprises, which works with musician D12 and other artists, Hall said. A Web page for "Jeremy Geffen Entertainment" lists D12 among the acts it represents. (The website shows he also represents Sean Paul, formerly of the YoungBloodz)

Hall said Geffen has been under investigation since October, when the first girl went to police. The teenager alleged that she had been assaulted by Geffen once in December 2006 and again in January 2007. While police were investigating her accusations, a second teenager contacted the police.She alleged that Geffen had assaulted her in November. Police believe that the two victims are not acquainted and that their allegations stem from separate incidents, Hall said.

CONGRATS to the beautiful Halle Berry on the birth a healthy baby girl early Sunday morning at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in LA. The still un-named baby girl is the first for the 41 year old actress. I'm sure the baby girl was welcomed by all with open arms, especially her Godmother- Oprah Winfrey!!!! CONGRATS HALLE!!!!!......Oh, yeah, and Gabriel too!!!!

In other baby news, Usher and Tameka were spotted out this weekend doing some shopping in Hollywood. I snagged this shot while "site-seeing" over at Necole Bitchie and, while reading her commentary, I realized that we STILL have yet to see thier baby. The child is almost 4 months old and has yet to been seen by the public. Now, during her pregnancy, Tameka's hot @ss was out and about EVERYWHERE sporting her baby bump but now all she sports are shopping bags and declined credit cards!!!!! And none of her shopping bags are from Children's Place, Baby Gap, Gymboree, etc......

Georgina, available in 2 different colors at Nordstrom's for $395. That price tag is enough to STOP me from geting them but it doens't stop me from passing them along to yall!!!!! The last pair are the Report Signature Lucie pump, for $149-$199, depending on the color you select!!!!! These right here are definitely in my price range and well worth the cost. The heel is a bit severe and my arch would be crying by the end of the night but whoever said fly @ss shoes were supposed to be comfortable- as long as they look good right!!!!!!

They also said ATL rapper Rocko Da Don was getting over a cold as well!!!!!!!!! I think some of these rappers need to invest less in chains, cars, Louis Bags and Gucci belts and invest MORE in Vitamins, Airborne, and their health!!!!!!!... or at least stop telling the Dirty Boys!!!!!

Snoop Dogg Starring On One Life To Live!!!!!!

Snoop Dogg is bringing some street cred to "One Life to Live."

The 36-year-old rapper will make an extended cameo on the ABC soap opera to perform two songs from his new album, "Ego Trippin’," at the Ultra Violet club in the town of Llanview, the network said Thursday.

Snoop’s episodes will air May 8 and May 9, and feature his re-mixed version of the show’s theme song. He will also act in scenes.


"I’ve been a fan of `One Life to Live’ since I was a baby," said Snoop, who will perform "Sensual Seduction" and "Life of Da Party." "My momma always had it on the tube in tha crib growing up. The opportunity to change up the theme song and give it some of my flavor will make the show the Life of The Party." says Snoop (source)

How about I can't WAIT to see these episodes. I have ALWAYS enjoyed watching Snoop on the big screen. From Baby Boy to The Wash to Soul Plane and even that horrible horrible vampire movie thing he attempted to do some years back. Older white and black women just love Snoop.

Two New Witnesses ADDED To R. Kelly Trial

The E-Biz has the scoop, first! The judge in R. Kelly's child pornography case on Wednesday (March 12th) granted prosecutors' request to add two witnesses for the R&B singer's upcoming trial. SURPRISE!

The case, which has been pending since 2002, is set for trial May 9th. The papers requesting the additional witnesses were put under seal and the case's lawyers are subject to a gag order.

One source said the two witnesses are former R. Kelly employees -- something a member of Kelly's defense team denied, of course. The source added the employees' testimony would be "not good" for the defense. Hmm, I'm just guessing here but could these two witnesses last names be Daniels? And maybe one of them happens to be his former publicist who resigned becasue he "crossed the line"? Click Here To Read The Rest

Usher "Here I Stand"

Talking to some of the collaborators on Usher's next album, Here I Stand (due in June), all indications point to the project being a blend of mature music and songs that will make the girls dance.

Former Roc-A-Fella R&B artist Rell wrote the title track, which is produced by the Grammy Award-winning team Dre & Vidal.

"It's a ballad," Vidal Davis said earlier this week. "Classic. It's a smash. It shows that despite all the things he's been through, he's still here. The first time [Usher] heard it after Rell wrote it, he said, 'I gotta cut that.' He's really grown [on] this album. He's talking about some issues."

Dre & Vidal worked with Usher on 15 songs last year in New York and Atlanta and finished with him in August. "Here I Stand" is said to be addressing Usher's fans and family. "The song is saying, 'No matter how far I go, no matter how long it takes, here I stand,' " Vidal said.

Polow Da Don, who produced the album's first single and current #1 song in the country, "Love in This Club," worked on two other records for the album as well.







"This one joint is called 'Angel,' " Polow said. "I think it's the best and biggest song I've been a part of. Usher and Nelly actually wrote the song together. Me and this dude named Brian Kennedy produced the record. We was all in the room, kicking it, talking. This is when we had our first real conversation about dude getting married. 'Cause I'm not married or close to being married — I don't even have a girlfriend — I'm like, 'Maaan! How do you get married? Especially you, Usher. How do you get married?' We was talking about that. The way he feels about [marriage], it makes it cool. He's so sincere about it, regardless [of what] everybody else thinks. 'I'm a man now.' It's some real-life sh--."






Polow said "Angel" was cut right around Christmas, during a time when Usher's dad was gravely ill (Usher's father died earlier this year).






"[Usher] was open with his feelings and emotions at the time," Polow added. " 'Angel,' it's the full circle of his life. The first verse is dedicated to his mother. She's his angel. He's [singing] about being a little kid, being a badass and taking his mother through the hardship and not realizing the whole time she was always there. She is his angel. The second verse is about meeting this woman who is now his wife. No matter how bad he treated her or what he did — not recognizing she was special, thinking she was just a girl — as things unfold, she's his angel. And he's a grown man now. The third verse is about him and his wife having a child, and now he has to be a protector. Everything is the other way around. His son is now his angel that he must protect. Everybody is gonna love it, and it makes you think [about] whoever in life has been there for you."






The third song Polow recorded with Usher is way more physical than emotional.
" 'Lights, Camera, Action,' we made that song after the first night we played 'Love in This Club' at the club, Jermaine Dupri's club," Polow recalled. "It's a nice little way to tell a girl, 'Let's make a porno.' It could be with your girl or a new girl. It's telling her, 'You know you love right. ... There's something I wanna do with you I never tried before.' The song goes, 'First I go hit the lights/ I set up the camera/ Then we get to action.' It's dope. It's a dance joint. Usher's album is strong."






The LP isn't quite finished, so the final track list has not been announced yet. There's still no guarantee that all three Polow songs will make the cut. The video for "Love in This Club" is going into production soon.

Another Rapper Arrested: Juelz Santana

Dipset member Juelz Santana was arrested near the entrance of his Teaneck, New Jersey home, after police found hollow point bullets and marijuana in his Bentley.

The rapper, born LaRon James, was arrested last week as he approached his home in the gated community of Glenpointe.

The arresting officer claimed he smelled the odor of marijuana emanating from Santana’s Bentley and upon further inspection, noticed several marijuana roaches, Dutch Masters and White Owl cigars.

After police learned the rapper was driving with a suspended license, they searched the vehicle and found 29 hollow point bullets wrapped in a sock, as well as $19.500 dollars in cash in a hidden plastic bag filled with "hundreds of Jolly Rancher candies."


Who ever knew his name was so similar to LeBron James!!!! LOL!!! And Juelz got a BENTLEY AND almost $20k in cash in his car?!?!?!? So the question remains, why hasn't he got them bugs bunny teeth of his fixed yet?...... I love his dimples though. I've STAN'd for him all this week on Rap City- swag splashing, ya digg!!! So, for all of those giving me grief about going off on Juvenile for not attending his daughter's funeral, here is a look at what Juve was doing the night of the funeral. Shout out to commenter and blogger MISS MAD NEWS for dropping the BOMB in the comments section. Not only did Juvenile perform for the Hypnotized Tour in Augusta, GA on Saturday night, he also attended and performed at the AFTER PARTY for he show. PUNK-@SS-NESS, like I said earlier and I stick to it now. This is how he deals with the loss of his child by performing and then partying it up at a club the same night?!?!?!?! I'm over it, yall. SO OVER IT!!!!

I usually don't even trip off of things like this b/c it's so common in the blogger world but that right there is just a bit much. Halle's STILL Pregnant

So Halle shop-a-holic Berry and her sperm donor baby daddy were spotting out and about in Cali doing some shopping.... surprise surprise!!!!! LOL!!!!! Halle looks like she is about to burst open!!!! She still looks absolutely beautiful and glowing. When is her due date? Christina Aguilera, J-Lo, & Nicole Richie have all had their little bundles of joy. It seems like Halle has been prego forever but I guess we have been watching her since very early in her pregnancy while the other ladies waited until far in their 2nd trimester to announce what we already suspected!!!!!! And, what's up with the MC HAMMER Maternity pants, Halle?!?!? They look comfortable and all but I'm not really feeling those joints!!!!!!

I wonder if Halle is going to do the home-pregnancy thing or have her little baby at Cedar Sinai like many of the other leading ladies in Hollywood?!?! Hmmm....

Juvenile Doesn't Attend Daughter's Funeral

Juvenile's 4 year old daughter Jelani Deleston was laid to rest this past Saturday in James Island, South Carolina along with her mother Joy Deleston and older sister Micaiah. The 3 were alledgedly murdered by son/brother 17 year old Anthony Tyrone Terrell JR. It's being reported that rapper Juvenile didn't attend his daughter's funeral because he didn't want to take the attention away from his daughter's ceremony. I guess he felt as though the media would be following him around and not focusing on the little life, as well as the other lives, that were lost.

To me, that sounds like a bunch of BS. From what I hear, it was a private ceremony. It's not like the media would have been INSIDE of the funeral. The may have been outside and all he had to do was walk in/out with a hat and glasses on and avoided the media. Media folks were going to be there REGARDLESS just because of the shock and devastation this murder has caused around the nation. Juvenile is a PUNK!!!!! He showed that by not standing up for his responsibilites and having to be arrested and taken to court and be ORDERED to pay child support for the little girl. He further showed his PUNK-@SS-NESS by not attending the funeral to pay his respects for the woman that had his child and was holding down her home and raising 3 children by herself, paying last respects to his own child, and Macaiah. If anything, he should've released a statement saying he didn't attend the funeral because of whatever other reason other than the media being there. If he would have revised his statement to not sound so selfish and self-centered, maybe people, like myself, wouldn't be in such an uproar about him not attending.

Plus, who still listens to Juve?!!?!?!? When did Juve have a hit in the past few years?!?!?!?! What type of star staus is Juve on right now where the media would follow his @ss around?!?!?!?! I'm not going to pass judgement on this man b/c I don't know what is going on in his head. I'm sure he feels like the piece of ISH he is for not supportin gthe baby girl in the first place and now not attending her funeral services. I hope, at least, he did what he has been doing and provided FINANCIAL SUPPORT so the family can be laid to rest in the most beautiful home going service possible. I have 3 words for Juvenile, so in the words of Joe Clark reminded to me by a homegirl of mine that was watching Lean On Me last night- Juvenile, KILL YOURSELF EXPEDITIOUSLY!!!!!!!

As a closing note, REST IN PEACE JOY, MACAIAH, and JELANI. Our prayers remain with the family and friends of the victims at this time.

Are You Even ALLOWED To Vote?

That was a quote from my big ole teddy bear Rick Ross and his feelings on Barack Obama and the Bush administration. Now, all of these celebs have come out in support of Barack and that's all good but how many of these SAME folks are actually registered to vote and, better yet- ALLOWED TO VOTE?!?!? It's my understanding that convicted felons are unable to vote in an election. Along with not being able to apply for federal student aid, the right to vote and a bunch of other rights are stripped of felons after they have completed thier time and been released from prison. That's why I laughed realy hard one day when the radio station repeated a quote from Lyfe Jennings saying he was supporting Barack Obama!!!!!! How many of these supporters are #1- Allowed to Vote and #2 will even go to the polls and cast their vote in this year's election?!?!? I'm not even going to try to figure out all of the other convicted felons turned entertainers that are backing a candidate but, come November, they can't even cast their vote!!!!!



It's great that everyone is getting involved but do it for real. Don't do it just to get press and be able to speak your piece on what's hot RIGHT NOW!!!!!! And, better yet, instead of complaining about what's wrong with the economy because of the current president, take a look closer in your OWN COMMUNITY at the local, city, and state elections!!! The President can sign bills into law and allocate money to each state for education, housing, streets, etc...but it's up to the local officials YOU appoint into office and the local laws YOU vote yes/no to that make the big difference. So, while we are all on the Obama or Clinton bandwagon, let's also take a look in our own backyard. The President can only do so much but you have the mayor, senators, governors, supreme court officials, school board and superintendents in YOUR OWN COMMUNITIES that also need to be held accountable for their part in our current F'd up society!!!!!!



I guess celebs backing a candidate equal more vote for that person so, even though they themselves may not be able to vote, they have gotten other individuals excited about the process and voting!!!!! This can be looked at from many different angles, I just hope that when November comes, we are doing less talking and MORE VOTING!!!!

Plies Announces 2nd CD- "Definition of Real"

2007 was an amazing year for Plies and the rapper is now ready to make his sophomore debut!!!! "Definition of Real" is set to be released June 24th!!!! Even though this isn't REALLY Plies 2nd cd (more like his 3rd or 4th, I believe), it's his 2nd release on a major label. Tiffany "New York" Pollard is heading to Hollywood — but her romance with George "Tailor Made" Weisgerber will still stay strong back home in N.Y.C., he tells PEOPLE exclusively.

"Her show is going to be a huge success," Weisberger says of Pollard’s upcoming VH1 reality show, New York Goes To Hollywood, in which she’ll pursue her dream of becoming an A-list actress. Last week, VH1 said in a statement that "in order to focus on her new mission, New York has to put her last conquest, Tailor Made, on the back burner as she tries to take on Tinsel Town." Not so, says Weisgerber. "Tiffany and I are very happy together," he tells PEOPLE. "We will make this work."

Weisberger is staying in New York because of his job as an exec with fashion guru Mark Ecko and his 12-year-old daughter, Asia. "I have so much respect for Tiffany and support her career," he says. "She is very talented and has a great future as an actress." His independence is one of the things that drew Pollard to him, he says. InDRUpendence?!?!?!

After the big fiasco, stunt-show, b*tch beatdown- whatever you want to call that Dru Hill video that dropped on YouTube last week, it's now being reported that Dru Hill WILL still continue their reunion and their new album INDRUPENDENCE DAY will be dropping July 4th of this year. Ummm.... first and foremost, the 4th of July this year falls on a FRIDAY and most new albums drop on Tuesdays so how they are going to get this off, who knows?!?!? Secondly, while listening to Frank and Wanda on V-103 this morning, they had the dj that did the interview with Dru Hill, Mark of the Big Fat Morning Show in Baltimore, and he stated that Nokio was drunk and had been drinking that morning and the guys had been in the studio all night. If Nokio's @ss was still drunk that early in the morning, then I see some drunken performances in his future. Plus, does anyone EVER remember Nokio having a solo part in any of Dru Hill's songs??!!? I think he was just there for "visual" purposes, because Sisqo, Jazz, and Woody were DEFINITELY nothing special to look at.

I am a very big fan of the OLD DRU HILL but I think that this reunion will "flop"!!! There are too many big egos to deal with and, ever since Sisqo got on 106 & Park a few years back and claimed he was better than Usher, his career has sunk beyond revival!!!!!! Or maybe the "Thong Song" killed it?!?!?!!?

Eyelash Application: 101

While in Sephora the other evening picking up a tube of my new favorite mascara called Fiberwig, I saw a whole case with all of these unique, colorful, extra dramatic false eyelashes. While looking through the case, it made me remember how many of my female friends and associates have asked for my help when it comes to applying eyelashes. I even remember an old friend of mine who would apply her false lashes using the thick, black hair weave glue. WTF?!?!?! I grilled her @ss down for about 5 mintues and then showed her the proper way to apply flawless, natural looking false lashes. For those of you ladies out there that may not have a clue, StyleRazzi is here to help!!!!!!

First, when selecting lashes, try to pick the lashes that have a clear band at the base. I just find the ones with the thicker, black band at the base give a less natural look when not applied by a professional.


Next, measure the lashes against your eyes and trim the lashes to fit your own personal eye. Make sure you trim them on the longer end of the lashes. ALL LASHES NEED TO BE TRIMMED. Unless you have big and wide eyes, like singer Brandy, you need to trim the false lashes to fit your eye.


Now you are ready to begin the application. Don't put the lash glue directly on the lashes! I guess I need to first point out BUY EYELASH ADHESIVE and don't use your weave glue. The eyelash adhesive is white and it dries clear. Ok,now that that's out of the way, don't apply the lash glue directly to the false lashes. Put a thick strip of the lash glue on top of your hand and allow it to sit there for 15-30 seconds so the glue can become a bit sticky. Next, run the base of the false lash back and forth along the glue making sure each end has a good amount of adhesive.

Next, apply the false eyelash as close to the base of your real lashes as possible. If you can do this with one eye opened and the other one closed, try that for the most natural look. Press from end to end to make sure the lash has properly been applied to the entire eye. Then, either fan the applied lash with your hand or get a blow dryer, set it on the lowest setting, and blow dry the lashes. This makes the lash stay on your eye longer, stick better, and not move as much. Be careful when you open your eye b/c they may be a little stuck together.


Finally, apply your favorite mascara and you are READY TO GO!!!!!!! A nice little tip is to apply all of your make-up FIRST and leave the lashes and mascara as the last step to complete your look for a flawless finish :-)

Rihanna Helps Find Donor

After singer Rihanna put out a plea for help, a leukemia-stricken New York City woman has found a bone marrow donor.

"Today a 32-year-old guardian angel consented to be my donor, even though in all likelihood she has never met me and does not know who I am," Lisa Gershowitz-Flynn, 41, a lawyer, wrote in an email to supporters Thursday.

"While we cannot verify the source of the donor," Flynn adds, "this angel was most likely found through the efforts of my family and friends, as well as complete strangers who heard about my story and took it upon themselves to aid in the effort to find a donor."

After PEOPLE exclusively reported Rihanna's campaign to find a donor for Flynn, more than 5,000 readers contacted DKMS, the world's leading bone marrow donor center, to become potential donors.

Even better, "We actually recruited and registered roughly 2,000 new donors, just from phone calls and emails we got – and it's continuing," says Katharina Harf, executive vice president of DKMS.

After finding the match, Flynn is now awaiting the bone marrow transplant.

"My life will be saved because of you, my family and friends (old and new)," Flynn writes. "My children (Michael, 5, and Alexandra, 3) will have their mother, my husband will have his wife, and my parents will have their daughter."

Flynn is beyond thrilled that she has found a match.

"The English language does not have words that are adequate to thank someone for working to save your life," she says. "Please continue to spread the word about how important it is to fill the bone marrow registry with donors to save others."

Alright, Beyonce. You better find a heart for someone or the cure for AIDS or something!!!!! Rihanna is killing you softly honey with no room for recessitation. Notorious BIG has been CASTED!!!!!!

The search is OVER!!!!!!!!!! The man who will depict hip-hop legend Biggie Smalls aka Notorious Big has been found............ and it's NOT Sean Kingston!!!!!!! Read on more from the Hollywood Reporter:

Fox Searchlight has found its big-screen Biggie. The specialty division has announced that Jamal Woolard, a Brooklyn-based rapper, will be cast in the role of the late rap icon Biggie Smalls, aka the Notorious B.I.G., in its upcoming biopic "Notorious."
Derek Luke, Angela Bassett and Anthony Mackie also have been cast in the movie, Searchlight said. Luke will play Biggie record producer Sean "Diddy" Combs, who offscreen is an exec producer on the film. Mackie will play rival rapper Tupac Shakur, while Bassett will play Biggie's mother Voletta Wallace.






The production held an open casting call in the fall in the hope of finding the next Notorious B.I.G., AKA Christopher Wallace, the generously built East Coast rapper who was killed in an Los Angeles drive-by in 1997. Woolard, who also is known as Gravy, is not a total unknown. He has released a number of albums, though he's perhaps best known for being shot before a radio appearance outside the New York hip-hop station Hot 97 two years ago, after which he proceeded with the interview and became a part of hip-hop lore. R+B star RIHANNA has banned fans from bringing umbrellas to her U.K. concerts - over fears for their safety. The S.O.S. singer scored a massive hit with her summer (07) single Umbrella, but the Bajan beauty has refused to let devotees bring the item to her gigs, because she is afraid people will get injured as fans try to copy her dance moves during her performance of the track.

And Rihanna has reason to worry - several concertgoers were left injured after a number of umbrella-related incidents occurred during her recent European tour.The bizarre ban was revealed earlier this week (begs03Mar08) as Rihanna played in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Security guard Andy McDonald, who works at the Press + Journal Arena in Aberdeen, says, "We don't normally ask people to leave an umbrella outside.


"But we were taking precautions over a potential accident. We were told that Rihanna's song features dancing with umbrellas on stage. We didn't want the crowd following her actions and someone getting their eye poked out."

Snoop Rocks a Plastic Cap and LeToya's Dad Sings the National Anthem?!?!?

On Monday afternoon, Snoop stopped by Atlanta's Radio Station V-103 to spend sometime with the Ryan Cameron Show!!!! This was one of the funniest interviews I've heard in a loooooonnnnngggggg time!!!!! Peep the plastic cap and clear balls on the end of his braids- he came in there ready to CLOWN!!!!!!

Ryan and co-host Elle also asked Snoop about his UGK Dickie shirt he was wearing. Snoop stated that while Pimp C was in LA he was supposed to present Snoop with this exclusive shirt. As we all know, Pimp C never got that chance, he passed away in an LA hotel room, but his people still made sure Snoop got his shirt and I love the design.

BET's High School Fashion Show Rip The Runway!!!

Last night was the airing of BET's Rip the Runway and how mad am I that I wasted an hour of my time watching that MESS instead of tuning in to Millionaire Matchmaker's season finale!!!!!!!
I don't know why I am surprised. The show was executive produced by Diddy so that helps explain alot. It reminded me of my old high school fashion/talent shows, which were also a mess!!!!!!! My first issue is that, in the fashion capital of the world, NYC, why couldn't they find better models?!?!? Half of those girls couldn't walk and the majority of them didn't have the bodies to wear what they were put in.

Hosts Lauren London and Nelly looked cute together but they might as well have been reading with the scripts in their hands as hard as they were struggling to read the teleprompter.

The only line that looked like they actually had professional models were Apple Bottoms and the Size Sexy designer collage.

And what was up with this little size -0 chick rocking Apple Bottoms?!?! Doesn't that contradict what that line is supposed to stand for? Hmmm.......

And let's not even talk about the "celebrity" models?!?!?! How is Toccara now an XL on top and an XS on the bottom?!?!? She needs to rethink her "Hollywood Diet" because she is beginning to be built like Spongebob.

Jaslene looked like a skeleton in her bathing suit. I saw every single one of her bones. I think her and Amy Whinehouse are shaped alike!!!!

And HELL TO THE NAW to Wack-si walking for Zack Posen. She fit right in because Zac seemed to have this whole "Mickey Mouse Bunny Ear" thing going on and Wack-si needs not EVER wear her hair back behind her ears. I thought I was watching DUMBO for a second.

Yes, WACK-SI. That look on your face describes the whole show- BLAH!!!!! And, is it just me or in th above photo doesn't she look like she turned her head around to her back like the Poltergeist chick?!?!? For those of you all that have had the pleasure of reading my interview with blog buddie Necole Bitchie, you read about my encounter with Uncle Luke. What I forgot to mention is that, a few years after that encounter, I went to a club in my hometown where Uncle Luke was having his "Freak Fest" and let me tell you, it was a bit much. But, it's something I think everyone needs to experience at least once in their lives. Luke had the women in his group bring some men up on stage, laid them on their backs, pulled their pants down, and put their ankles by their ears and let's just say there was some candle wax, whipped cream, and a bunch of other stuff I didn't need to see going on at the tender age of 18. Plies & The BUST IT BABY SUCK 4 FINGERS Contest???

So the blog homie Fresh of Crunk and Disorderly posted this above photo that just ruined my day. I have the biggest crush in the world on Plies. I don't even really do celebrity crushes (other than the chubby-licious-ness that is Rick Ross) but there was just something about little 5'7" Algernod that just got my blood boiling. I guess it's the way he flows and just the raw, nasty-ness of his lyrics on top of how something about a little man that isn't afraid to flaunt his bird chest that does great things for me.

Well, all of that came to a crashing hault today!!!!! The photo above is of Plies letting some hoodrat suck his finger? Really, Plies?!?!? Lil Boosie A NO SHOW; I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-EN-T Fans in Omaha Cause Riot

So, word on the wire is that Lil Boosie was supposed to perform at the Sokol Underground in Omaha, Nebraska last Friday, February 29th. The 900 fans had paid $30 per ticket and were very disgruntled when they were asked to leave the venue at 11pm after Boosie had failed to show up. Angry audience members ripped a ticket booth off of the wall and then the riots continued outside of the venue where crowded around an intersection in the road making the traffic come to a screeching hault!!!!! Omaha police were called in to disperse the crowd and 2 concert-goers were ticketed for disorderly conduct. No one is believed to be injured but there were severe damages to the club. Lil Boosie has yet to release a statement as to why he was a NO SHOW!!!!!!!!!

What's up with all of these rappers not showing up to events? Is it the artists becoming too big in their own mind? Is it the event promoters for failing to deliver the cash they guaranteed to the artists making them not show up? $30 per ticket for 900 folks is about $27,000. Who knows what Boosie's performance fee is plus the fee to rent the venue, opening acts, etc......... Come on folks, let's get it together, ASAP!!!!!

Sandra Rose has some exclusive photos from Keyshia Cole's Reality Show Reunion taping that went down in ATL on Saturday. Is it just me or do these celebs just get smaller and smaller as they become more famous? Keyshia, Jeezy, Baby of Cash Money, and countless others have slimmed down a whole helluva lot since their first introdcution to fame and fortune!!!!!! What made me think of this is I was at home watching Keyshia Top 25 videos on BET on Saturday and, of course, she had a slew of Jeezy videos in her countdown and I noticed how much "thicker" Mr. Jenkins was when he first hit the scene.

In one of my much older posts, I already eluded to the fact that, to me, it looks like KeyKey had a breast reduction and now, with the new photos from her reality show, she is a little on the thinner side. Atlanta R&B singer Keyshia Cole taped a reunion show Saturday based on her hit BET show "Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is." The show was scheduled to tape at Turner Studios in Midtown from 4 to 6 p.m. Cole and her family arrived late at 4:30 p.m. and didn't get on stage until 7:30 p.m. By then, Buzz was long gone. Taping, a BET spokeswoman said, didn't end until 10:30 p.m. Even she missed the taping because her flight back to D.C. was at 9:30 p.m. The reunion show is set to air on BET March 20 —- presumably on time.

Love My LEGGINS!!!!!!!

So, Rihanna was spotted out over the weekend rocking another pair of leather leggins!!!!!!! These were first rocked heavily on the red carpet last summer/fall by many urban celebs and ConcreteLoop's resident fashionista Tiana found a very inexpensive pair at American Apparel. I went "site-seeing" over there and found quite a few pair of leggins I may have to stock up on.

So, everyone's favorite Gremlin Weezy was in the ATL last night to host his "daddy's" 40th birthday party at the Velvet Room. Weezy brought his favorite accessory, HIS STYROFOAM CUP!!!!!! We no longer have to speculate as to what's in his cup, he confirmed the answer to that question last week. I guess I didn't know that you could put ice in your "Texas Tea"!!!!!

Poor thang. his eyes are so diluted in this photo!!!! And, is it just me, or do his nostrils look "red and wide open"?!?!? I guess he "powdered his nose" before steppin out!!!!! And, on a side-note, who's ratty @ss weave is that all up in his face?!?!? Ladies, please invest in some Indian Remy. It looks like Weezy is posing next to a bird's nest!!!!! LMAO!!!

Mom Was An Aspiring Actress; Still No Motive For The Slayings

Now, I heard on the radio over the weekend (yesterday, actually) that Juve will be at Atlanta's Figure 8 Nightclub along with NFL player Adam "Pacman" Jones THIS TUESDAY!!!!!! Personally, I hope he cancels this appearance. If he is "shocked and devastated", as his statement claims, I don't feel like he needs to be hosting a party at a club less than a week after his child was slain by her own brother. That is just my personal feeling. To each his own. We all have our own ways of coping with death and maybe this may be his way of coping but i'm just saying.......... Read on from the AJC and learn more about this whole terrible, senseless crime:

Joy Deleston was a no-nonsense Gwinnett deputy who moonlighted as an actress and parented three children, all with a smile on her face. Robert "IronE" Singleton, a writer, director and actor from Atlanta, acted in several movies with Deleston and knew her family. He last talked to Terrell at a November film premiere.

Deleston, an actress who appeared in locally produced films, was also a 7 1/2 year veteran of the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office. She previously worked for the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office in South Georgia. Robinson Vil said Deleston was a supporting actress in three films for his Atlanta-based production company, Villain Pictures: "The Effect," "Riff" and "Dark Secrets." He met Deleston when she auditioned for a role in 2004 and immediately fell in love with her personality. Vil wrote parts for her in all his subsequent movies, which she happily took even though Vil couldn't afford to pay the actors.

"I told her, wherever this goes, you're coming with me," Vil said. "She was a very good actress. So now with this happening, it's just like a big blow."


The rap star Juvenile is "shocked and devastated" by the shooting death of his young daughter, the girl's mother and another child, his manager said Saturday.The 32-year-old rapper is still trying to cope with the death of 4-year-old Jelani; her mother, 39-year-old Joy Deleston; and the woman's daughter Micaiah, 11, whose bodies were found Thursday night in their home, said manager Aubrey Francis.

"It really shocked him and devastated him to the point where I've never seen him before," Francis said. "Right now he is relaxing and trying to grasp everything of what has happened."

Deleston brought a paternity lawsuit in 2004, claiming that Juvenile, whose real name is Terius Gray, was Jelani's father, Gwinnett County court records show. Both parties later agreed Juvenile was the father. Juvenile, who is in New Orleans, had been making regular child support payments, Francis said.

Meanwhile, 17-year-old Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. is being held in the DeKalb County jail, charged in the deaths of his mother - a Gwinnett County sheriff's deputy - and siblings at the home near Lawrenceville. He was arrested Friday.

Because of his age, prosecutors cannot seek the death penalty against Terrell. A preliminary hearing will be set next week in Gwinnett County Superior Court, prosecutor Danny Porter said. Police say the teenager, Anthony Tyrone Terrell, implicated himself in the slayings and even told investigators where he disposed of the gun. They still don't know why he did it. "We do not have a motive at this time," said Officer David Schiralli, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department.

"Everytime he talks about his mom, it's something good about her," Colquhoun said. "I don't think it's true. I don't believe it at all. He's not the kind of kid to snap." (source 1) (source 2)
