Kimora and Baby Phat thought this Golden Cat bootie was a good idea. I would've agreed had it not had a $395 price tag. These shoes are a bit much for my taste. They are real busy with the jeweled heel, animal hair upper, and the leather design intertwined. these boots are avalable exclusively at Baby Phat website.

Channel Cream Patent Boot at Steve Madden for $190. I love the design of this shoe. We featured the bootie earlier this season and know the knee high boot has hit the scene. This shoe would look extra fyl with some black jeans, a black oversized off the shoulder sweater, and black tam hat. Add some red "Mama Tina" lipstick and cream and black accessories and you are READY TO GO!!!!!!! Be adventureous and take your fashion outside of the box.

Akon Faces Misdemeanor Charges Plus MORE!!!!!!

Akon will be appearing in court on Monday to face charges. According to People.com:

Akon is due in a Fishkill, N.Y., courtroom Monday to be arraigned on misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment, the Associated Press reports.

During the June concert, Akon threw the audience member from the stage into the crowd. According to the Associated Press, the boy landed on another fan, Abby Rosa, who told the Poughkeepsie Journal that she suffered a concussion.

Little Miss Abby Rosa must've suffered a SERIOUS CONCUSSION if it took her this long to realize that she had a concussion!!!!!!

Reports are surfacing that Mannie Fresh's sister Angela Bryant was murdered in her home Wednesday night. I saw this story while browsing at RhymesWithSnitch so I pulled up some information from local NOLA news station WWLTV. Read on:

A 42-year-old mother of two young children was shot and killed late Wednesday night in her Algiers home while her kids were there.

Angela Bryant, who is the sister of local rap artist Mannie Fresh, was found in her home in the 1000 block of Farragut Street early Thursday morning.

The children were not physically harmed, according to police.
Police said Bryant’s husband was out of town when she was killed, but he arrived at the scene before noon and was visibly upset.

Bryant’s 1998 Black Lexus LS 400 with the license plate PTF 205 was missing from the home and police are searching for the vehicle.

Carrie St. Cyr, the mother of the victim, told Eyewitness News Reporter Jill Hezeau that Bryant just got married in October. She said Wednesday was her birthday and the family had gone out to dinner to celebrate.

Congrats to Alicia Keys!!!!! In the 2 weeks since it's release, her cd "As I Am" is certified platinum, selling a total of 1,092,200 units, according to ballerstatus.com. In this day and age, where leaks and downloads are KILLIN the game, Alicia is in a world all her own. Even Jay-Z has only managed to sell 643,000 since American Gangster was released. Luckily he was smart enough NOT to release his cd the same week as Keys because he would have been seriously OUTSOLD!!!!!!!!

I remember watching Alicia Keys years and years ago on Teen Summit. I believe it was a Christmas special and she sung "Little Drummer Boy", but I can't rememer exactly. I know this is completely off topic but I think BET needs to bring a show like Teen Summit back. I used to enjoy watching it every Saturday afternoon. It spoke about topics that kids were dealing with but were maybe too scared to talk to their parents about. Mya was also a dancer and panelist on Teen Summit.

"New Grandma" Jonetta Patton Speaks; Baby Denies Marriage Reports; PLUS The Vapors!!!!!!!

"I'm extremely excited and filled with joy about the birth of my grandson, Usher Raymond V," Patton says. "He is beautiful, precious, healthy and such a blessing. I'm very happy for my son and his wife. God has truly blessed them with a special gift. Baby aka Birdman spoke to MTV News about his recent arrest. He says: "We got arrested for a misdemeanor amount of marijuana... The police just found something minor in a garbage can the dog sniffed. We all got out on bond."

He insists that the guns the police found were all legally owned by his security personnel, who were travelling with him.

"The guns we had were good. I do carry a gun and I am licensed. Tennessee is one of the states I can tote in. We know the guidelines."

This is what he said about Brittany Williams, who many reports, including us, stated was his wife:

"I'm not married... plus that girl was 18! I don't get down like that!"

Williams and his entourage are due in court in March of next year, but he says, "Hopefully all the charges will be dropped by then, and we won't have to go to court."

KeKe Palmer is the new Roxanne Shante

The actress and singer will play Roxanne Shante in the new movie THE VAPORS. Here is the synopsis of the independent film, according to BlackFilm.com:

Baby aka "Birdman" Arrested WITH HIS WIFE?!?!?!?!

No, not Lil Wayne but his 18 year old wife who, according to RhymesWith Snitch, is named Brittany Williams. Here is what I found while browsing at Memphis Rap:

Cash Money Records' CEO and founder BirdMan's RV was pulled over for running a tractor trailer off the road and police found a pound of weed. Bryan "Baby" Williams, who was one of 16 people arrested in Kingsport, Tenn, is now facing drug and possible gun charges. The police said the RV was spotted as it made an improper lane change and ran a tractor trailer off the road.

A policeman pulled the RV over and as he approached the RV, he said he could smell marijuana coming from inside, and found a pound of marijuana in a trash-can.

According to sources, Baby's wife was one of the 16 people arrested along with his brother. A 2-23 carbine assault rifle, a 9-mm handgun and a magazine for a 45-cal. handgun was also recovered in the RV. No gun charges have been filed.

Will Smith Gets His Star; DrumRoll SWD Recap PLUS MORE!!!!!!!

Last night I had the opportunity to catch Drumroll: SWD. Let me tell you how exciting this show is. I really wish it would've been picked up and aired nationally because it really shows these kids working hard and leading their band to success. I really appreciated how they looked at other high school bands in the area. The news focuses on how "bad" and "unruly" our teenagers are but it fails to focus on the good the majority is doing.


I also love the way it shows upper middle class black families. One of the students had an elevator in her home. It's not for luxury either. Her brother is a special needs child so the elevator is used to transport him from upstairs to downstairs. I'm excited to see additional episodes of this show and follow these kids throughout their entire season. This show is excutive produced by James DuBose, who also happens to be a producer on Keyshia Cole's hit BET Reality show, "The Way It Is". Drumroll: SWD is by far the BEST reality show I have ever seen and that is simply because it focuses on the positivity of our future generation and not the negativity of this world!!!!!! Hopefully someone will put the episodes on youtube so EVERYONE has a chance to catch this great new show!!!!!

Congrats to rapper turned super actor Will Smith. He will be receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, December 10th at 11:30am. He is definitely well deserving of his star.

Kanye West has settled a lawsuit with former stuntman Evel Knievel. Kanye and Knievel have amicably resolved and settled a lawsuit in which Knievel claimed that Kanye's depiciton of him as a character called "Evel Kanyevel" in his 2006 "Touch the Sky" video damaged his reputation. After meeting with West, Knievel changed his mind and said that Kanye was "a wonderful guy and quite a gentleman". The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed.

Last night, Creflo Dollar appeared on Larry King Live to discuss the recent allegations against him and other churches for misappropriating their donor funds. Creflo has opted to not disclose his church's financial records to the requesting senator from Iowa saying "No, we have not given him the information that he has requested, simply because we don't believe we are under any legal obligations to have to do it when the IRS has already been given the authority to act as a tax examiner and not a Committee". Here is what else Dollar had to say to Larry King:

KING: Give us a sense of your lifestyle, doctor. You -- it's reported you have a mansion in Atlanta, a multi-million dollar apartment in New York, a private jet.Why would a minister -- a guy speaking the word, anyone speaking the word of the Lord -- need that?

DOLLAR: Well, first of all, the private jet is owned by the church. I don't own it personally. And I see that jet as necessary -- a necessary tool in order to accomplish the mission of our ministry. I preach all over the world. We have offices all over the world. I pastor a church in New York and Atlanta. We're setting up hundreds of satellite churches around the country. So my board of directors and the constituents that support our ministry saw it as a necessary tool in order for me to accomplish the mission.As far as the apartment in New York, I've been working for years, and if you manage your money properly and if you work and, you know, own businesses and do what you're supposed to do, then you can afford to buy those with your own money.

I think there's a miscalculated assumption that whenever a minister owns anything that he had to use the church's money to purchase it. But there are ministers, like myself, who -- we own our own businesses. We're intelligent enough to invest and to save and to manage our money properly. And so if we choose to purchase what we want to purchase with our money, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Usher Raymond called in directly this afternoon and spoke exclusively with V103's Ryan Cameron OFFICIALLY CONFIRMING his son is here. Welcome to the world USHER RAYMOND V. The healthy baby boy was born at 9:59pm last night. Usher said he was in the delivery room and said he "did what he had to do" when asked if he helped deliver the baby. He and Eek are still undecided about a middle name for the baby. The new father sounded very excited and in great spirits. Congrats to the couple and shout out to BROWN SISTA for being the FIRST website to announce the birth. First comes the baby, then comes the blood test. Lol :-)

While standing in my neighborhood bodega waiting for my western omelette with cheese and listening to the radio, I heard Ed Lover and his morning crew on New York’s Power 105.1, announce that Tameka Foster had given birth last night. As you all know Tameka was with child when she and Usher married back in August and later on they announced that they would be having a boy. Congratulations to the happy new parents!

We will definitely keep you all posted on this one. I'm sure if Eek-Meek DID have the "baby" she would be on the phone from the hospital bed fresh out of delivery giving interviews and taking pictures with her little meal ticket.

If you're Big Boi from OutKast, you won't have to. He's getting the pair free, compliments of Atlanta retailers Laced Up Boutique and Priyya and Chintans Diamonds. First of a kind, they say.

Artisans in Mumbai, India, are putting the finishing touches on the sneakers, featuring diamonds studded around the famous swoosh logo.

Diamonds are bedazzling everything from iPods to brassieres, which got Priyya and Chintans owner Rita Patel thinking: "Why not diamonds on sneakers?"

The inspiration hit her while waiting in line for breakfast across the street from Laced Up. Just so happens the upscale shoe boutique caters to hip-hop stars like T.I. and Usher. Owner Ernel Dawkins expects the sneaks will be a big hit with his celebrity clientele.

The customized shoes are Air Force 1 "So Cals." Without diamonds, they retail for $225. To add the diamonds, the logo is cast in gold metal, and the diamonds are studded in casings held together by a fine gold stitching, Patel said.

The 11-carat sneakers will be unveiled Nov. 27. And yes, you can get a pair in time for Christmas. Orders won't be taken until late November, and Patel said it takes about three to four weeks to complete the diamond studding. (source)

They can add diamonds to any shoe, male or female, heels or sneakers. If you want diamond shoes, Priyya and Chintans can take care of you. The diamonds are sewn onto the shoe with pure gold thread. They insure the shoe for a year, so if you lose a diamond it can be replaced. They will also inspect the shoe for free and make sure the diamonds remain secured, to reduce the risk of losing them. In other related news, Diamond is going solo and she is no longer a member of Crime Mob. I guess that's what happens when you are in a group and start f*cking your boss.

And as for folks that were in a group and the group broke up because the member was f*cking the boss- enter Kandi (formerly of Xscape). This ish right here?!?!?! First of all AIRBRUSH?!?! Then you have the name of candy bars airbrushed.... oh, and I guess that's supposed to be cute because your name is Kandi- GIRL STOP!!!!!! Braid My Hair.....

Are you tired of STILL seeing women with cornrows in their head??!!?!?! I sure know I am!!! The only women that should still be rocking the long weave braids cornrow'd straight back are the ones who are pregnant. I found this really cute twist in braids while "site-seeing" over at Essence. The model has a part in the right side of her hair and the rest is braided diagonally, beginning at the front, and ending into a modern twist of the French Braid. I think this little style is very cute, elegant, and grown up. Ladies (AND MEN TOO- Trey, R. Kelly, J. Holiday) please get rid of the boring braids!!!!!! Try something new!!!!

In a notice filed Monday in US District Court in Atlanta, the US Attorney's office said it plans to introduce evidence of three occasions when Harris unlawfully possessed guns, ammunition and a silencer, "all after having been convicted of a felony offense."

The first was a Dec. 22, 2001, Atlanta arrest when Harris allegedly gave the name Douglas Morgan and was carrying a concealed 9 mm pistol. The arrest did not result in a criminal conviction.

The second, which did result in a conviction, occurred on Nov. 1, 2002, in Henry County, when Harris was arrested and later convicted for carrying a 10 mm pistol. The third arrest was the result of a search warrant executed at Harris' home in Fulton County on Dec. 18, 2004, when officers found a firearm with an attached silencer, large amounts of firearms ammunition and photos of Harris holding weapons. The incident did not result in a criminal conviction.

Harris' felony record began when he was 17, when he was arrested for selling crack in northwest Atlanta. He was sentenced to seven years' probation, which he violated and was eventually jailed for.

Harris, 27, of College Park, was released on bond on Oct. 26 and is confined to his home in Henry County.

StyleRazzi Speaks: Leaked Music

So, over the long holiday weekend, MediaTakeOut got it's hands on a new Usher track that was produced by Polow DaDon. Recently, leaked music has KILLED the music industry. Artists are having to re-record entire albums due to tracks being leaked to the internet. 50 Cent even tore up an entire office due to a video being "leaked" before it was scheduled to be released. Most folks think it's competitors that are responsible for the music being leaked but, contrary to that popular belief, it's usually people that are directly linked to the artist or people that are thought to be "friends/associates" of the artists, producers, etc.......


I don't know about them but, if I was a producer/artist/ A&R, I would start patting folks down upon entering my studio. Cell phones, recording devices, I-Pods, etc would be required to be left outside of my studio just to protect my work and the work of those in my camp. Someone in Alicia Keys' camp is doing something right because she just sold 742,000 her FIRST WEEK, which is becoming almost impossible for urban artists. Producers like Polow Da Don, Jermaine Dupri, J-Lack, etc may want to be real careful about who they let hear new Usher tracks because, next thing you know, the song will be all over the net and money will be lost!!!!!! And, if Usher evens wants a fair chance to compete with new artists like Ne-Yo and Chris Brown, he may want to record ALL of his tracks at a home studio, have them mixed right there in his presence, and keep them under lock and key until it's time to release them to his record label. It may sound like a lot but I'm sure Pepsi doesn't have their trade secrets floating around for all to copy....... Just my thoughts!!!!!

Under the Paint or Under the Knife?!?!?!

I was recently "site-seeing" over at BeyonceWorld.net!!!!!!! They do an excellent job of tracking the diva's every move. I know I am most likely EXTRA LATE with this one but new news to me is news I still like to share with others. Anyway, Beyonce World recently uploaded some photos from a 2002 Allure Magazine photoshoot that Beyonce did. The photos are gorgeous but this one in black and white stuck out the most to me. I compared it to another close-up photo of Ms. Knowles and something about her nose had definitely changed. It could be photoshop or it could be doctor'd up. You decide!!!!!!

I just wish black women would stop being so ashamed of having work done. White women have no problem announcing to the world that they have been under the knife but my sistahs always try to keep it under wraps. I know when I get my "DD's", I'm going to tell the WORLD!!!!!!!!

And here is her nose from another angle. And, on a side note, Don't you know I will SNATCH BEYONCE BY HER LACEFRONT JUST TO HAVE THAT SECURITY GUARD RIGHT THERE TACKLE ME TO THE GROUND!!!!!!!!!! Beyonce PLEASE stop playing!!!!!!

From Drumline to Drumroll.......

Metro Atlanta TV station Peachtree TV will air it's first reality series "Drumroll: SWD". The show will follow the award winning SouthWest DeKalb High School Marching Band. Here is an excerpt form the article I found HERE:

For the past month, members of the Marching Panthers of Southwest DeKalb High School have been under a microscope -- well, sort of. To be more accurate, the 265 band members have been under the cameras - literally.


A team of camera operators and sound engineers has been all over them, whether it was in the band room, at rehearsals, at football games, as they prepare for the debut of "Drumline: SWD," an eight-episode reality television show chronicling the fall season of the marching band on Peachtree TV. And the cameras are catching everything - great moments and, well, some not so great ones too.

Music mogul Dallas Austin, creator of "Drumroll: SWD," originally wanted to create a sequel to his 2002 blockbuster movie "Drumline," which also featured the Marching Panthers. Austin said 20th Century Fox refused to do a full-budget sequel, so it never materialized. Austin said he then thought about doing a marching band competition show, but when he saw MTV's "Two a Day," a documentary-style program about high school football players, he decided reality television would be a better route.


The show will air tomorrow at 8pm. I am very excited to watch this reality tv show. When I saw the commercials for it over the weekend, I though it was a college band so I was super-impressed to see that these are high school kids doing their thing!!!!!!! Marching bands are real big down south and mirror those of HBCU bands. The band at my high school mirror'd that of OSU, which isn't wack but I would much rather be able to shake my ass in the stands than listen to boring band music. I just wish it would be aired nationally instead of locally because this is what all kids need to see. They show that being a "bandie" isn't nerdy, as most folks think. The kids in this band are the TRUTH!!!!!!!

Is It Over Already!?!?

We, here at StyleRazzi, hope that everyone has had a very happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday. We will resume our normal posting tomorrow. We just decided to take a mini vacation to enjoy our family, friends, and other loved ones. Crooked Kellz vs. Ne-Yo, Alicia Supports the Writer's Guild, PLUS MORE!!!!!!

Ne-yo recently spoke to BET.com about what HE feels is the "real" reason he was dropped from CROOKED KELLZ tour:

"Let them [Jive] tell it, I was removed from the R. Kelly tour because of contractual agreements not being met, but that's absolutely false," Ne-Yo said. "I believe it was because the first few reviews of the show, people were talking more about my set than his and I don't think he liked that too much."

A spokesperson for R. Kelly is denying Ne-yo's claims and told Billboard.com that Ne-Yo's departure was contractual, and not related to any animosity from Kelly.

"Ne-Yo is a terrific talent and R. Kelly is certainly confident enough in his own abilities to be happy to share the stage with enormously talented people," the spokesperson said. "The more talented, the better. We're sorry it had to end this way."

Reports are stating that R. Kelly demanded that the hallway is cleared when he is walking through, that he and his dancers needed all 7 of the dressing rooms when they stopped in Columbus, GA and that they cut Ne-yo's rehearsal time down. With these new allegations coming out, I'm thinking that Keyshia Cole may have ACTUALLY been more upset with R. Kelly but directed her anger toward Ne-yo as to not "bite the hand that feeds her" aka get booted from the tour.

We reported FIRST about Keyshia not performing in Columbus because she was unhappy with the size of her dressing room but, don't you think if R. Kelly wouldn't have taken up 7 dressing rooms for himself that Keyshia's dressing room situation would've been much better?!?!? I'm just speculating..........

Yesterday, Alicia Keys was spotted out in Hollywood. She was there to perform and support the Writer's Guild America Solidarity March.

Puerto Rican singer DADDY YANKEE is denying reports that he attacked and assulted Olympic athlete Daniel Adum befor his concert last Friday in Ecuador.

According to PeopleEnEspanol.com, the singer assaulted Adum after the sports star asked him to be quiet in a hotel in Cuenca.

Yankee, real name Raymond Ayala, denies using threatening behavior, and thinks that Adum is just enjoying his "five minutes of fame".

Rapper ICE-T has teamed up with his wife Nicole aka CoCo for an episode of Law and Order- SUV. The model will be guest starring in the hit show, playing the girlfriend of a professional fighter who is accused of killing a teenage girl.

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks was overly excited when her dream of recording a duet with Chris Brown came true. She has a duet with the star called "No Air" that is featured on her debut album. Even though they recorded the song in seperate studios, Jordin hopes "No Air" will be the next single so she can do the video with him and tell him "thanks". She says, "I have the biggest crush on him. Two years ago, I wanted nothing but his CD for Christmas. It never came out of my player, and his poster is still on my wall.I was dreaming that I could sing with him and now I did." She adds, "If it ever came down to it, if he asked me out, I would say yes."

"The Bishop" Lives On

From Panache Report: A limited edition sports shoe designed by Snoop Dogg's longtime sidekick Bishop Don Magic Juan is to be re-released after selling out in weeks. The green and gold sneaker, featuring crocodile skin panels and gold laces, was originally marketed as a skateboarding must-have, but the Emerica McNally shoe has become a hit in urban markets. The delighted former pimp says, "Ain't no other player in the world got a major shoe deal."



I LOVE these sneakers. They are so fly and unique, just like Bishop Magic Don Juan himself, and can be found for under $125. I had the pleasure of meeting Bishop in Houston during All-Star Weekend a couple years ago when he was at the PARTY OF THE CENTURY with Snoop and he was actually very nice. We spoke briefly and he kissed the top of my right hand. I was sure not to "look him in the eye" too long. He wasn't going to put that "pimpin' spell" on me!!!! LMAO!!!!! We will try to keep you updated on the re-release and where to get these!!!! "Chuuurrrch"!!!!

Rest in Paradise, Dr. West

Surrounded by his friends and family, Kanye West arrived at the True Vine Ministry church on Tuesday, to lay his mother to rest.

Early Tuesday morning, flowers poured inside the church, which can accommodate up to 2,500 people.

It was a solemn day as a white hearse, carrying the body of Dr. Donda West arrived and her coffin was carried inside.

Inside the private service, John Legend accompanied a performance by Anita Baker. Common also reportedly performed. Other stars also came out to lend Kanye their support including Beyonce, Jay-Z and Fonzworth Bentley.

During the three-hour service, Kanye addressed the mourners. Kanye reportedly thanked the masses for their love and support. He also said that if his mom was looking down on the funeral, she would have demanded he get up and speak.He also reportedly broke down inside the service while speaking about his mother. Kanye said he wanted her to not "rest in peace, but rest in paradise"

After the service, a black horse drawn carriage transported her silver casket to the cemetery. About15 family members, not including Kanye walked behind the carriage. Kanye reportedly followed behind the walkers in a white stretch limo.

Donda West was interned in a mausoleum. Only immediate family was allowed inside for the moment. At the end, doves were released into the night sky. (source source source)

Dr. Jan Adams Walks Off Larry King

Dr. Jan Adams appeared briefly on Larry King Live last night before removing his mic and walking off the show. This is reportedly the FIRST TIME in the show's history that a guest has walked off the show. Sources behind the scenes tell StyleRazzi exclusively that Larry King's producers were in the green room tracking the doctor's every move even before he arrived late to the live broadcast. Our source also says that the show paid for all of the doctor's expenses and they had to scramble to make the rest of the show continue because the show is an hour long and Dr. Adams appeared for only 80 seconds. Luckily, Larry King Live already had guests that were supposed to appear briefly and they stayed to continue the show and discuss what happend. Here is what the doctor had to say before walking off:


"What I really want to say is I want to thank you for this opportunity. Basically I had come here to [address] things in the press that aren’t accurate about me, but I have a tremendous respect for the West family. They don’t want me to go on. I have a side, they have a side and I am going to respect their wishes … I will not be on the show and address any of that. I am gonna honor their wishes," Adams told Larry King. (source)

Reportedly, West family lawyers told the doctor not to appear on the show and threatened to seek his de-certification if he spoke about the case. I don't feel that he left because of the "respect" he has for their family but because things he said on Larry King could negatively impact him in future litagations regarding this case. In my eyes, it was already a bit disrespectful that he was even scheduled to appear on the show the same day that Dr. Donda West was being laid to rest. Also, if he had so much "respect", he would've never spoken out to begin with or would he have made the recent allegations that Dr. West asked him for additional Vicotin after the procedure. (Our source tells us this may also be another reason he decided not to speak because, by releasing the information about the prescription, he violated the doctor-client confidentiality/ HIPPA Medical Privacy Act.)

I feel that if he was asked not to appear on the show, he shouldn't have shown up at ALL and since he did show up, he should've stayed and spoke about other allegations that have been brought against him and just not speak about the West situation.

Also, People Magazine were the last ones to speak to Dr. Jan Adams before he walked off Larry King Live. They have the exclusive interview with the doctor in their next issue, which hits stands TOMORROW!!!! Here is a sneak peek at their exclusive interview:

Though he refused to comment on the actual cause of death "out of respect" for her, Adams fights back against allegations that his surgery on Donda West was rushed. "I find that offensive and sort of unfair," he says. "I'm thorough and I do my job well."

As for his smattering of legal woes, including 11 malpractice suits, Adams is unmoved. "When people say 'plastic surgery' they think of me," he says. "These suits don't represent bad plastic surgery, they represent a bad decision in terms of choice of patient."

Remembering Dr. Donda West

As we all know, Dr. Donda West's home-going service is being held in Oklahoma City today. It began at approximately 1pm Oklahoma time. KOCO news has a video story remembering Dr. Donda West. They even spoke with her father:


Her father, Oklahoma City civil rights leader Portwood Williams Sr., described her as a devoted daughter and respected educator.

"We were real close -- very close," said Williams, who often called his youngest child "Big Girl."

"She was just number one. One in a million. We have four children, and I've never heard them have an argument with each other. She was just a number one person."

Kanye also spoke to a crowd overseas and explained why he chooses to keep performing:

"There's nothing that she loved more than to come to the shows and scream louder than any fan, because she was my first fan that was screaming before anybody else. My first manager. If she was here, she would tell me to 'Get on that stage and kill it, dawg.' That was her favorite word, dawg. She would tell me to go on this 'Glow in the Dark' tour and take over the world and 'be No. 1 like how I taught you to be, baby.' "

Trend Alert: "Rain On Me" with Rain Boots

I don't know how I feel about this new "rain boot" trend. The trend actually isn't that new. Celebs were rocking rain boots this time last year but, as with alot of other trends, it sometimes can take a while for the vast majority to catch on.

Rihanna was spotted a couple weeks ago rocking her patent leather rain boots. Here are a few rain boots that can fit any price budget. I have also seen a few pairs on clearance at Target so check there if you would like to experiment with this style. I may get my daughter some rain boots and see how they look on her first!!!!!

Big Meech Pleads GUILTY

Big Meech is the next person that I think a movie should be made about and I also think it would put "American Gangster" to shame. Think "Belly", "Juice", and "American Gangster" all in one. According to Creative Loafing:

After spending two years awaiting trial, Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory pleaded guilty Nov. 19 to laundering drug money and running a continuing criminal enterprise. His plea ended a 15-year investigation into his role in the $270 million multistate cocaine ring the Black Mafia Family.


Meech, a 39-year-old hip-hop entrepreneur and Detroit native who ran BMF’s Atlanta hub, stood with his hands clasped behind his back and admitted to U.S. District Court Judge Avern Cohn that he "supervised" the drug ring. "I was the leader of a few individuals that was involved in this case," he told Cohn in a low, soft voice.


While a conviction on a continuing criminal enterprise charge carries a mandatory life sentence, Meech’s guilty plea means he could face as little as 20 years. A sentencing date wasn’t set.


The plea deal didn’t include a cooperation agreement, meaning he won’t be called to testify against his remaining co-defendants, including his brother, alleged BMF co-leader Terry "Southwest T" Flenory.


Only the Flenory brothers were charged under the continuing enterprise statute. BMF’s second-in-command, Chad "J-Bo" Brown, pleaded guilty in April to cocaine and money laundering; he was sentenced last week to 15 years in prison. Brown’s is the most stringent of any sentence handed down in the case so far. Like Meech, Brown refused to sign a cooperation agreement, which would have landed him a reduced sentence.


Meech is the 26th defendant to plead guilty in an indictment that charged 41 alleged co-conspirators. His brother and five other co-defendants are scheduled for trial Nov. 26. The remaining co-defendants are expected to plead guilty at a later date.


At a separate hearing held hours before Meech’s plea, Cohn discussed the upcoming trial with prosecutors and defense. One of the issues defense attorneys raised is the government’s intent to keep some of its witnesses secret. Terry’s attorney, William Daniel, asked if the identities of three of those witnesses would be revealed. Assistant U.S. Attorney Dawn Ison replied that she would identify them a week before their scheduled testimony in the trial, which is expected to last six weeks.

"It may be that you should re-examine that," the judge said.


Soon after, Ison pointed out that most of the witnesses already had been identified in a document shared with defense attorneys. "There’s a veritable wealth of witnesses already included on the government’s list," she said.


Only three of the co-defendants who’ve pleaded guilty have agreed to cooperate. In addition, at least three others who haven’t pleaded guilty are expected to cooperate. And BMF associates charged in other jurisdictions, including Atlanta, cut deals in exchange for testimony, too.

To date, more than 150 alleged BMF associates have been charged in more than a dozen indictments in at least seven states. Two of those cases were brought by the U.S. attorney’s office in Atlanta, and one is in its early stages. Among those charged in that indictment is the rapper Barima "Bleu DaVinci" McKnight, and BMF’s alleged third-in-command, Fleming "Ill" Daniels. Daniels also faces a murder charge out of Fulton County.


BMF associates have been arrested in connection with at least three violent attacks in Atlanta, including the 2004 shooting in the parking lot of a Midtown club with which Daniels is charged. That case has not yet been scheduled for trial.


What’s more, Mayor Shirley Franklin’s ex-son-in-law, who was sentenced last year to life in prison for cocaine charges related to BMF, is under investigation for his alleged role in the murder of his co-defendant and the co-defendant’s girlfriend. The mayor’s daughter is also being investigated for what she might have known about her then-husband’s cocaine ring.

Double Down?!?! Ne-yo Dropped From R. Kelly Tour

So, Sandra Rose has the press release stating that Ne-yo has been dropped from the "Double Up" tour. Read on:

According to a press release, Shaffer Smith aka Ne-Yo was informed that he was being dropped from the rest of the R. Kelly tour after delivering two sensational performances. Entertainment reporters, music critics, bloggers, fans, and concert goers all agreed that Ne-Yo's performances brought the heat; but maybe it brought too much heat.

R.Kelly's camp sited the lack of a signed contract as the reason Ne-Yo was dropped. "I don't understand their actions because I was rehearsing, doing media, promoting the tour, and performing, said Ne-Yo. In my opinion, I was doing everything possible to make the tour a success. I love being on stage in front of fans because of the immediate feedback you get. You know right away if they are feeling you; and they were really feeling our show."

Ne-Yo expressed genuine concern regarding not having the opportunity to complete the tour. He wanted all of his fans and supporters to be able to see him live. "To my fans and ticket holders – I apologize if you are disappointed."

This tour started less than a week ago and already (as we first reported) Keyshia Cole has acted a DAMN DONKEY and now R. Kelly drops Ne-yo from the tour?!?!?! Save your money, fans. At this point, you dont know WHAT to expect from this concert. It's obvious that Ne-yo has alot of star power because both R. Kelly and Keyshia felt the heat from this young brotha. Let's see how long this tour lasts- It was supposed to be 9 weeks long, with the final stop in Hampton on January 13th. I wonder who will take Ne-yo's spot? Trey Songz? T-Pain?

TI's Grand Hustle record label and Grand Hustle K.I.N.G. Foundation will be handing out 400 turkeys in Atlanta: 200 on the west side, 200 on the east side. There will be Thanksgiving dinners prepared and served for the needy at Club Crucial on Thanksgiving as well. T.I. is also assisting the Hosea Williams Feed the Hungry and Homeless Foundation by reaching out to his friends in the hip-hop community in hopes of raising $150,000 for a massive turkey giveaway at Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves. T.I. says the goal is to serve 20,000 to 30,000 people.

For the first time, Oprah Winfrey decided to do her annual manic giveaway show "Oprah's Favorite Things" away from Chicago. Her destination? Macon.


The city may have only 235,000 TV households, but Winfrey's rationale stems from loyalty. "Macon has the highest ratings for "The Oprah Winfrey Show" ever since we went national in 1986," Winfrey said in a statement.

hat means 45 percent of TVs that are on in Macon at 4 p.m. any given weekday are set to "Oprah," compared with 15 percent in Atlanta on WSB-TV.


Oprah used a bit of subterfuge, telling Macon residents that the show would be part of a tour of hometowns across America. Only when the 300 residents arrived at the Macon City Auditorium did they find out about the freebies.


Macon chiropractor Milton Miller Jr., one of the few guys who saw the Saturday taping (which airs today), got even more than swag. Oprah saw his sign in his front yard saying "Oprah, come see us!" and spent 45 minutes with him Friday.


The gifts, he said, were mostly girlie stuff, so "my mom is going to have a great Christmas."

According to MSN Sports:RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Michael Vick surrendered to U.S. marshals Monday and will remain in jail until his sentencing on a dogfighting charge in three weeks.
The Atlanta Falcons quarterback is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 10 but turned himself in because he anticipates a prison term on the federal dogfighting conspiracy charge, according to a court document. Vick could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.
"From the beginning, Mr. Vick has accepted responsibility for his actions, and his self-surrender further demonstrates that acceptance," Billy Martin, one of Vick's lawyers, said in a statement. "Michael wants to again apologize to everyone who has been hurt in this matter, and he thanks all of the people who have offered him and his family prayers and support during this time."

Review: New Jack Swing Concert

Hell to the NAW….

On Saturday I had the pleasure of attending the "New Jack Swing Tour" which included performance by After 7, Johnny Gill, Guy (Aaron Hall) and Bobby Brown!! All the acts did an amazing JOB and I was really impressed with Johnny Gill. He "showed up and showed out". His voice is amazing!! I guess having a "deep throat" helped to preserved his pipes!!!!! LMAO!!!! Honestly, he is truly a performer . Johnny did my anthem "My My My"- Slip on your Red Dress!! Aaron Hall still has it. Honestly, he was the entire group of GUY back in the day so it didn't really make a difference that the other 2 members didn't show up…..

Now on to the JUICE!!!! Bobby Brown was definitely BOBBY!!!!! not only did he FORGET the WORDS to the majority of the 7 songs he performed but BOBBY was nursing a broken ankle- therefore he couldn’t dance. So he limped around on stage popping his groin EVERYWHERE!!! And apologizing to COLUMBUS for not being able to DANCE due to the ankle incident!! During one part of the show, this fool laid on the stage and couldn’t get up and needed assistance!!!! The FINAL kicker came at the end. He was performing the song "Rock Wit You" and he FORGOT THE WORDS so he sat on the speaker and asked for crowd participation? It got so BAD Johnny came from back stage and finished the song for HIM-and turned it out!! Bobby tried to hit the notes at the end but it just wasn’t there. All I can say is BOBBY was being BOBBY BROWN!!! Literally

It's Monday, yall, and I will say in advance I AM IN RARE FORM TODAY!!!!!!! I woke up CRUNK at 5:30am and I am ready to clown today!!!!!! Let's get it poppin..........

I didn't watch the awards show last night just because I had something much better to do- EAT and FLAT IRON MY HAIR!!!! I heard the reviews and I really don't think I missed anything. I didn't feel like being a AMA Photo Album and list all of the photos, so I picked out my best, worst, and WTF for the night.

Beyonce came on the red carpet and SHUT IT DOWN!!!!! Her outfit is absolutely beautiful. From head to toe, she is fabulous. I can say she knows how to work the hell out of the red carpet when it comes to awards shows

Let the "implant" rumors begin. I just think these Hollywood chicks have found a new wonder bra that they aren't letting us know about..................

Her sister, on the other hand, should've stayed her ass at home. WTF is this, Solange?!?! Looking like Tracy Ellis Ross.................... I don't even think Mama Tina approved of this wreck. Chick looks like she wrapped a metallic gold piece of fabric around her and held it together with that black belt. The dress is so poofy that I am almost convinced she couldn't see her feet and that was the reason she threw on these pink pumps. She must've let baby Daniel dress her for the night............

Ashanti was there, for some unknown reason, but she was servin' em. I had a hard time picking between her and Beyonce for my best dressed. Ashanti's dress is beautiful and she is working it.

BREAKING NEWS: ARREST WARRANT ISSUED FOR DR. JAN ADAMS

An arrest warrant has been issued for the plastic surgeon who operated on KANYE WEST's mother the day before she died. Dr. Jan Adams failed to show up at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday morning (16Nov07) for a hearing with a disgruntled former patient. Lori Ufondu won a $100,000 (GBP50,000) judgment after Dr. Adams left gauze in her breast following a boob job - her lawyer called Friday's meeting after the doctor failed to pay up. West's mother, Donda, died in hospital on Saturday (10Nov07) following possible complications from a tummy tuck and breast reduction operation Dr. Adams carried out on Friday (09Nov07). Dr. Adams has denied any responsibility for Donda West's death, insisting he has "done nothing wrong".

Dr. West Memorial Service Today , Playaz Circle Beatdown Rumor FALSE, PLUS MORE!!!!!!!

For those that were wondering, according to celebtv.com (and various other news and radio sources) Dr. Donda West's funeral will be hel on Tuesday, November 20 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the Howard-Harris Funeral Home (2601 SW 59th St). Dr. West attended high school in Oklahoma City and her parents and brother still reside there.


She will also be remembered today in a memorial service at Chicago State University, where she was a faculty member for 24 years. Donda West's nephew will be present to attend the memorial and Kanye is not expected to attend. NY Daily news is reporting that Kanye is in denial about his mother's death, which is very understandable. We keep Kanye and the entire West family in our prayers during this difficult time.

The American Music Awards are going to be very "divalicious" this year. Beyonce is headlining the show and other performers include Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, and Mary J Blige. The awards will take place this weekend in LA and will air on ABC on Sunday at 8pm est.

SOHH Ya Heard reported a few days ago that Playaz Circle members were involved in a brawl over the weekend in Pennsylvania and were alledgedly robbed. I spoke exclusively with a member of PC who advised that the reports were a rumor so- Ya Heard Wrong!!!
What's even crazier is that P.C. was unaware of the fight and have no idea where the rumor stems from. Anyone who knows Playaz Circle would've never believed these rumors anyway. Tit and Dollar are two of the coolest, most humble and down to earth artists I have ever met and they carry such an undeniable swagger.

It’s your girl Miss Nista checking in and last night I had the opportunity to check out the movie screening of "This Christmas" starring Chris Brown and Loretta Devine (one of the original Dream Girls). I have to say that I was very impressed. The movie centers around the average family coming together during the holiday season and bringing the drama- like we always do- then coming together at the end as a family.


It was like "Soul Food" meeting the holidays. Each character in the movie will remind you of a family member. This happens to be Chris Brown’s first feature film and he got his acting thing on!!! We get to see more of Chris' acting skills than what we saw during his few minutes in "Stomp the Yard". He is officially a "Triple Threat"-watch out USHER!!!! Not to mention he is fine, young, rich, and every cougars dream…LOL Take the entire family to see the movie. It will be hitting theaters near you on November 21.





My favorite scene in the movie was when Regina King's character conforted her cheating husband, who spent Xmas with his mistress. He came back and she put baby oil on the floor. He slipped out of the shower thinking he was about to get his
"Freak on" but instead found him self getting his a$$ whopped with a
belt slipping and sliding all over the floor!!!!!! Let me also say that Lauren London is a very pretty girl but she cannot act!!!! I think she will be another Lisa Raye........

Rumors on the Wire: Keyshia Cole "Plays" Columbus, GA PLUS MORE

I'm sure Keyshia Cole stans in Columbus, GA are a bit pissy right now. The kick-off of the R. Kelly "Double Up" Tour was last night in Columbus and sources on Atlanta's Hot 107.9 are saying that Keyshia Cole acted like a true DIVA!!!!!!!

The concert line-up was as follows: J. Holiday opens the show followed by Keyshia Cole, then Ne-yo, and then closing it out is R. Kelly. Well, it seems as though Keyshia felt she is more of a star than Ne-yo and refused to go on before him!!!!!!! After J. Holiday closed his set, Keyshia's band came on stage for a few minutes and then left the stage without even playing a single tune. Ne-yo's band came out and Ne-yo performed.

So basically, KEYSHIA COLE DIDN'T PERFORM IN COLUMBUS BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANT TO GO ON STAGE BEFORE NE-YO. Word is that she also complained about her dressing room being too small!!!!!! The concert hits ATL tonight so hopefully she has that diva-ish worked out before tonight!!!!

Confirmed: "Ray," star Kerry Washington is dating Common after playing his love interest in a new video. Ne-yo was on the Frank and Wanda Morning Show this morning and Frank asked Ne-yo about the child that is not his biological child but who Ne-yo claims as his son. Ne-yo basically stated he is LEGALLY not allowed to speak about the situation but when everything is worked out, he will hold a press conference to let everyone know the specifics about the situation.....

HMMMM...... Wonder what is so "legal" about the situation?!?!? Is he legally adopting the child? I guess we will just have to wait and see. I wonder if Ne-yo will ever come out and announce that he was previously married and reportedly his ex-wife liked when folks made it "rain"?!?!? Or the fact that he had a chick that was down with him and helped take care of him when he was just simply "Shaffer" but when he got big he had no love for her....................

So SANDRA ROSE just posted a story about how Beyonce is reportedly wanting to cover Aaliyah's "One in a Million"?!?! Fans are protesting saying that Beyonce will "kill" the song and the even had a protest on Facebook.

When I read that, it made me think back to some photos I saw on Media Take Out about a year ago linking Jay-Z to Aaliyah. We all know Aaliyah dated Dame Dash but these photos show Jay and Aaliyah getting cozy. I think it would be a slap in the face for Beyonce to cover Aaliyah's song and for Jay-Z to allow it when it's kind of obvious from these photos that he had some "more than just friends" feelings for her. I would much rather see Ciara covering Aaliyah's music......

Common Partners With Lincoln Navigator

Congrats to Common on becoming the new face of the 2008 Lincoln Navigator!!!!!!!! Here is what we snagged from All Hip Hop:

Chicago rapper Common has partnered with Lincoln to promote the 2008 Navigator.

Common will be featured in a number of advertisements and promotional activities with Common's community outreach programs.

The rapper will appear in national TV, radio and print advertisements.The first spot, titled "Common," will debut nationwide on November 25 during NFL Sunday Night Football on NBC.

Lincoln will also assist Common in developing other businesses.The car company will license songs for implementation in television and the Web, as well as tie-ins with Common's books and hat lines and an alignment with his concert tour.Common will also appear at various Lincoln events, including auto trade shows.

"I am very enthused and honored to connect with Lincoln, " Common said. "I believe that this union will be creative, fresh, and classic. Most importantly, it's a way for Lincoln and me to give back to the community and people in need."

As part of the deal, Lincoln has aligned with Common's nonprofit, the Common Ground Foundation to sponsor the 1st Annual Star the Show n' Bowl fundraising event, which takes place in February during Grammy weekend.

What Happend on The Game?!?!?

I will be very honest with yall. I was on the phone "caking" this past Monday so I missed the ENTIRE episode of The Game. Oprah Speaks Out On Allegations PLUS Ellen Degeneres and Jay-Z Show Dr. West Some Love

From Access Hollywood: Oprah Winfrey denies she is the one who introduced Dr. Donda West to Dr. Jan Adams, the surgeon who operated on West hours before her death.

In a statement to Access Hollywood, a rep for Oprah dispelled reports that the talk show queen had introduced the two.

"Absolutely untrue. Oprah did not introduce Dr. West to Dr. Adams," the statement read.

The rep added Oprah neither introduced, nor recommended, the two and that the last time Oprah had spoken to Dr. West was April 27, 2005, when she had Dr. West and her son on the show.

However, earlier in the day, a source told Access Hollywood that Dr. Adams was, in fact, one of two doctors Oprah recommended to West. The source claimed Oprah also recommended a doctor in Chicago. (Thanks to Sandra Rose for the update)

The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday will pay tribute to will Kayne West’s Mother, Dr. Donda West, who passed away Saturday. "I just saw her a couple weeks ago. He was as close to her as I am to my mother," said DeGeneres. "He took her everywhere. They were always together. She’s been on the show twice ... just a wonderful vibrant woman."


Jay-Z dedicated his sold-out Sunday night concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York to rapper Kanye West's mother, who died over the weekend. Near the end of his nearly two-hour set, the rapper asked for a moment of silence to pay respect to Donda West.

"Let's get serious for a minute," Jay-Z told the energetic crowd during his encore performance. "This show is dedicated to Kanye West who had a death in the family." The crowd quickly became silent. "We got you, Kanye. Stay strong," he added before launching into his final song of the night, "Roc Boys."

Sanaa: She’s talking about the gossip sites.



Essence: The blogs.



Sanaa: That are run by Black women.



Gabrielle: And now because everyone is clamoring for celebrity tidbits, the bigger gossip sites and even mainstream entities are picking up on it. No fact-checking, no nothing. And in one week’s time, there were like five different dudes, a baby—I’m a homewrecker. In literally seven days. I can’t point the finger at the White media. They don’t care about us. Paparazzi are not staked out in front of any of our houses. They are not going through our garbage because they don’t care about us in that way. So when you hear crap about us, it is coming from our own community, which hurts.



Nia: We are some of the few Black actresses whose passions are rooted in our community.



Gabrielle: There is this idea that there is integrity in journalism; if it’s written it has to be true. But that’s not the case. Did Oprah Refer Dr. Donda West to Dr. Adams?

As Miss Nista told you all yesterday, things about the death of Dr. West would begin to surface withing 24 hours. One of our exclusive sources has kept us up-to-date with some of the breaking news in the death of Dr. Donda West but we chose to keep some of the details under-wraps until they became confirmed by other national news sources. Here is the latest:

It has been allegeded that Oprah referred Dr West to a Chicago doctor to be seen but she reportedly didn't go to that doctor, she chose to see another doctor Oprah recommended- Dr Jan Adams. I didn't want to post this when it was initially revelaed to me but, when I saw TMZ's post about how Dr. Jan Adams, the doctor that performed surgery on Dr. Donda West, also appeared on an episode of the Oprah Winfrey show, it made me wonder. The story has also been posted on Access Hollywood's website which is why I decided to post as well because another news source revealed it first. As you know, Kanye and his mom also appeared in an episode of Oprah's show so I wouldn't be surprised if they became friends after that appearance.

This story is still very sensitive so I'm trying to walk a very thin line with my posts because I don't want to disgrace Dr. West's name or her memory. I know her family is still in pain and I want to respect their privacy but also bring you the news I feel is relevant. Stick to TMZ for the up to the minute details.

Q: OK, while you're clearing things up, is it true that [Atlanta entertainment power] Michael Mauldin named you Alicia Keys? [Her real name is Alicia Augella Cook.]

A: He did help to come up with the name — myself, my mom and Michael. At the time I was signed to Columbia [Records, where Mauldin was the president of black music] and we were going through all of these names. Sometimes good, sometimes horrible names — like Alicia Wild. Terrible, right? I called my mom with that one and she said, "It sounds like you're a stripper." I was like, "Damn!"

Anyway, I was at Columbia University one day, where I was studying, and my pager goes off. It was Mauldin on the phone and he was like, "I had this dream! Something about keys to my briefcase! It was all about keys!"


And I was like, "Hmmm, well, keys, you can play the keys. You can open doors with keys. Keys could be kind of hot."

More details are submerging about the unexpected death of
Kanye West's mother Dr Donda West. As most of you may have already heard, Dr West reportedly died because of an allergic reaction she had to anesthesia during a cosmetic operation. Dr West was having a tummy tuck and breast REDUCTION, not implants, as what people may have assumed when they heard BREAST AUGMENTATION. What is also going to surface in the next 24 hours is the fact that Dr West had a heart condition and doctor's had REFUSED to operate on her previously because of this condition. TI invited 95 folks for Thanksgiving?!

So TI has withdrawn his request to host Thanksgiving dinner at his South Atlanta home, citing strong opposition from the prosecution as his reason. Um, I'm just taking a wild guess here but maybe TI realized that submitting a guest list of 95 people wasn't the BRIGHTEST idea. That must've been TIP's dumb ass idea and I now question the intelligence of the defense team for even attempting to submit this foolish. I could see 15-20 folks but 95!?!! He gets a big BOY STOP for that one.

Alicia Keys ATL Performance "BLOWS"

Alicia Keys was in Atlanta on Tuesday night for a free concert to celebrate V-103 radio personalities Frank and Wanda's 9th Anniversary. Local ATL celebs were in attendance as well as JD and Janet Jackson.

Keys performed an hour long set and previewed songs from her much anticipated cd "As I Am", which hits stores next Tuesday. Access Atlanta reporter Richard Eldridge wrote that even though Keys was "Ailing", she still managed to power through the entire set- even asking the audience at one point is she could "blow her nose". Alicia was suffering from a cold and, in between songs, she took time to sip tea and bottled water. After turning the spotlight off so she could blow her nose, Keys returned back to the piano and performed the song "Superwoman"!!!!!

We here at StyleRazzi would like to send our condolences out to the entire Williams and Mean Mug family and extended family. He was a veteran in Columbus, Ohio's Hip-Hop Community whose life was taken away too soon...........

Rodriccos Williams Sr. departed this life on Saturday, November 3, 2007, as the result of protecting his family from a home invasion. Rodriccos was born and raised in Columbus, relocated to Michigan where he resumed his education receiving 6 Masonry degrees. He returned to Columbus where he worked and became an entrepreneur. "Rowdy Rod", as he was known to many around the city of Columbus, was a very instrumental part of Mean Mug Records. Their artists have recorded songs with Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and Freeway, among others.

Being from Columbus, I knew Rod and everytime I would see him out, he always had a smile on his face and was enjoying every moment. His wife, LaTonia Boyce-Williams and I were very good friends while I was in high school. It's been a few years since I have seen Tonia but, as you know with friends, no matter how much time and/or distance seperates you two, the bond is always there. My heart goes out to LaTonia and her 2 children as well as the entire Williams and Mean Mug family. Rod was a friend to all and will be greatly missed.

"You don’t disrespect me, n-!" he yelled as he knocked down the securit barricade. Santana and the entourage then bowled over the three bouncers at the door. Twelve more guys followed and a brawl ensued as they tried to pry open the door of the popular nightspot. Reinforcements from inside Tenjune swarmed out and shoved the aggressors back onto the street.

Jennifer Lopez told Miami concertgoers Wednesday night that she and husband Marc Anthony have a baby on the way.

"Marc and I are expecting," Lopez told the crowd in Miami.

After her announcement, Anthony kissed Lopez's belly.

"I didn't know she was going to talk," he said.

Lopez, 39, did not say when she was due to give birth. Lopez and Anthony married in 2004.

Designer Roberto Cavalli confirmed, perhaps inadvertently, that Lopez was pregnant in October.

Asked what types of clothing he designs for celebrities, the fashion designer told People magazine: "Well Jennifer Lopez, at this moment, she requests something very special because she is waiting for the baby."

I don't know where everyone else that views this blog is at around the world but, where I am, IT'S COLD!!!!!!! Cold to me here in Atlanta is 45degrees when I wake up in the morning. Either way it goes, winter is approaching and it's time to pull out those winter coats!!!! I haven't owned a "bubble" coat since 9th grade and I have no plans on buying one this year. TI Wants to Host Thanksgiving At His House

From AJC.com: Atlanta rapper TI weapons charges, who's under house arrest awaiting trial on federal weapons charges, is asking a judge to let him host a Thanksgiving Day dinner at his Jonesboro home.

In a motion filed in federal court Tuesday, T.I — who was born Clifford Harris Jr. — requested that the judge waive the no-more-than-three visitors-at-a-time provision of his $3 million bond.

Harris, 27, wants the exception only for Turkey Day, only between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., and only for a group of visitors whose names he submitted for approval.

In another motion Tuesday, Harris also asked the judge to allow access for workers who can come clean his yard, pool and home.

Among the strict bond conditions that U.S. Magistrate Judge Alan Baverman set, Harris can continue to live with his girlfriend and his children. However, visitors are limited to three at a time between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., and have to be cleared with a criminal background check.

Harris' movements are monitored by a GPS system. And at least one guard lives on his property at all times, said Steve Sadow, one of three lawyers representing Harris.

If the judge grants his request, Harris will pay for additional guards for the celebration, according to the motion.

He can serve sweet tea, but his bond conditions forbid him from consuming alcohol.

Dwight Thomas, another lawyer for Harris, said he could not discuss the particulars of the motion, such as how many family members Harris was expecting.

Thomas said Harris was coping well as a prisoner in his home.

"He's doing fine. He's very upbeat," Thomas said. "He's looking forward to his day in court."

Until then, fans who want to catch a glimpse of the Atlanta rapper can catch him in the movie "American Gangster."

Among his handful of scenes is one where Harris is sitting alongside his drug overlord uncle, played by actor Denzel Washington, enjoying a Thanksgiving dinner....

I'm sure the guests would just include he and Tiny's immediate family and the entire Grand Hustle family as well. I think this request isn't unreasonable. I feel like the judge should maybe set time from 12-5pm for TI to be able to spend with his family and have the additional guards there. What harm could it do?

I do have a problem with him wanting someone to come clean his house. What? Can Tiny's little pregnant self NOT clean? I'm sorry but I moved a whole apartment when I was preganant with my son PLUS worked a fulltime job until 2 days before he was born so I have little to NO compassion........

SHOUTOUT TO THE BIG GIRLS!!!!!!!! And no, that is NOT a dis. Anyone who has ever heard that song knows it BANGS, especially in the clubs down here and the go-go spots in the DC Area!!!!!!! Being fabulous comes in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. Living in Atlanta, you come to find real quick that skinny girls are damn near extinct. Everyone here has hips and ass and when my size 1 self moved here 3 years ago, I learned really fast that my size was NOT what was up. I went on an eating binge (steak, potatoes, cornbread, etc), gained 25lbs, and got my ATLANTA ASS!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!

Anyway, I would like to thank my reader Sunshine for bringing to my attention that I need to expand my styles for women of all shapes and sizes!!!!!!! Ask and you shall receive :-) I will say that in looking for fabulous styles for my big-boned sistas, I was very disappointed to find some designers feel like larger sistas need to wear over-sized unflattering clothes. They need to STEP IT UP ASAP!!!!!!!!! I will continue my quest to bring you all of the great styles for every size and if you guys have any suggestions, please feel free to leave them in the comments section or send us an email!!!!

Alicia Keys is in the November Issue of German Vanity Fair. I'm kind of "iffy" about these photos. The first one is really beautiful and elegant but the second one is really weird to me. I don't know exaclty what it is but something just doesn't look right. She looks like a ghost or the exercist or something.

J-Lo was spotted leaving a South Beach nightclub. She is still hiding that "baby bump" really well. I wish these pregnant celebs would stay out of the clubs and relax and enjoy their pregnancies. It's only 40 weeks and that is the time you create a bond with that baby. (And, to be honest, by the time you find out and make it through your first trimester, it's actually only 28weeks.) Like I tell my friends, if you can't sit your ass down for 40 weeks and just enjoy the preg life and all of the joys it brings then what's the use?

RocaWear Launches Fragrance and Cosmetics Line

I saw this little tidbit when I was "site-seeing" over at All That's Fab and was instantly intrigued. Everybody and they mama has a fragrance line right now and you can add Jay-Z and Rocawear to that list.

Iconix Brand Group announced yesterday (November 5) that they have entered into a global licensing agreement with fragrance giant Elizabeth Arden for the development, marketing, and distribution of a men's and women's fragrance, skincare, and cosmetic products for Rocawear. Even though Jay-Z sold Rocawear to Iconix in March of 2007, Jay-Z still still spearheads all of the product development, marketing, and licensing. The advertising campaign surrounding the new launch is said to be bigger and more visible than it has ever been.

When asked about the launch of the new fragrance, Jay-Z stated, "We are excited to partner with an industry giant such as Elizabeth Arden. The combination of their expertise in fragrance and our ability to affect popular culture will produce some incredible products and breathe excitement into the category." TEAM DERWIN, WHERE YOU AT?!?!?!?

I am SO TEAM DERWIN right now!!!!!!! Melanie is out of damn control. That chick is wide open right now. Derwin messed up once and Melanie took it to the extreme by sleeping with Trey then hoping in bed with Malik. On a side note, I'm going to need Derwin to stop putting that "S" on his chest like he is Superman because Malik was about to get all up in that ass last night. I know yall remember what happend when Derwin tried to act a fool when Trey came to help Melanie pick up her things- Derwin got put in a head lock by little "itty bitty" Trey!!!!!! And let's not even talk about Jason's lying self!!!!!!! Making his woman distrust her own brother and now she is self-conscious about her whole body just because he doesn't want to admit to his steriod use.

Miss Nista and I were talking last night and we both agree that the story line is a bit much right now. It's all over the place. CWTV really needs to think about giving this show a full hour. It really needs that because, at the end of every episode, I am left wanting more and also feeling like "HUH"? Isn't Gossip Girl a whole hour show? CW needs to get it together. I can tell yall that I looked at the synopsis of the next 3 episodes and it is going to get really juicy (Derwin moves on, Jason's steriod use may be exposed, and Malik and Tasha pull a Usher and Mama Raymond) . Until then, here is a summary of next Monday's episode. Lil Kim is also rumored to be making a guest appearance on Monday's episode.

Per All Hip Hop........

R&B singer Trey Songz was arrested in Springfield, MA early Sunday (Nov 4) along with several members of his entourage following a shooting outside a local venue.

Songz was charged with behaving as a disorderly person and resisting arrest.
The singer, born Tremaine Neverson, was released after posting $500 bond.
The shooting took place in the parking lot of The Hippodrome, where Songz performed Saturday evening.

According to Lt. John Slepchuck of the Springfield Police Department, police officers where present when shots were fired behind the venue at 1700 Main Street.

"Our disorderly person charge can involve several different things including the use of certain language, failure to do what an officer asks," Slepchuck told AllHipHop.com. "[Neverson] was interfering with an active crime scene involving a victim."

The alleged shooter, 29-year-old Anthony Williams remains in police custody facing multiple charges, including assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm without a license and assault with intent to murder.

He is scheduled to be arraigned this morning. Williams’ unidentified victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

It is unclear whether Songz is connected to either man.
The singer was connected to another similar incident in less than a month ago, though he was not directly involved.

Like everyone else, I love my fair share of urban celebrity gossip, but I think I am starting to get a bit burned out. I could sit here for days and match up outfits and never get tired!!!! I'm not a big fan of "cheap" shoes but these ones at Forever 21 for $19.99 were too cute to pass by. Add some Dr. Scholl's insoles to make these little babies more comfortable and you could get a few wears out of them before they fall apart!!!!!


With this look, I would just go with a shoe similar to the one the model has on or even pair the look with a "bootie" ankle boot. The whole focus of the lok are the buckles at the bottom of the pants so you wouldn't want a shoe that is too busy....

American Gangster: From the Eyes of A Child

American Gangster was the number one movie over the weekend. What some people may not know is that Frank Lucas' daughter, Francine Lucas, lives right here in Metro Atlanta with her husband and her 2 children. Access Atlanta/ AJC reporter Christina Boone sat down with Francine for a very intriging interview where they asked her about her life then and now. What some people may also not know that Francine's parents, Frank and Julia Lucas are still together and living happily in New Jersey. Here are some excerpts from the interview. Francine Sinclair spent much of her life running from the past. At one point she even changed her surname — anything to keep her friends from knowing she was the daughter of notorious drug kingpin Frank Lucas.

But she knew anonymity was lost when she discovered Denzel Washington was portraying her father in "American Gangster," which opened nationwide Friday.

Lucas made millions in the 1970s shipping heroin back from Southeast Asia in the caskets of dead American soldiers, as depicted in the film. He was sentenced to serve decades in prison on narcotics charges, but his time was reduced after he became an informant in more than 100 other drug cases.

"It's surreal watching it," Sinclair said, giving Washington high marks for his performance.

"He captured a lot of my dad's mannerisms. It's a polished version, but he really did his homework."

Her daughter was especially convinced.

"She thinks Denzel is her grandfather," said Sinclair, who lives in suburban Atlanta with her husband and two young children. She'd rather avoid specifics about where she now lives.

"There's still some crazies out there," she said.

With her father, now 77, set to become yet another outlaw made famous — or infamous — by Hollywood, Sinclair is seizing the opportunity to tell her story, one shared by more than a million kids nationwide whose parents are currently incarcerated.

Forensics Expert Allowed To Testify in R. Kelly Trial

R. Kelly's defense team suffered a blow this past Friday when a judge ordered a hearing for a forensics expert to testify about the methods she plans to use to prove that R. Kelly is indeed the man on the tape shown to be having sex with the underage girl.

According to MTV news, forensics expert Dr. Sharon Cooper claims she can use forensics technology to identify R. Kelly as the man on the tape by comparing vein patterns in the hands of the person in the video with those of R. Kelly. The hearing, being held on December 18th, will allow Cooper the opportunity to reveal her methods and also allow the judge to determine whether her mothods are acceptable in the scientific community. The expert is also supposed to be able to determine how old the girl is in the video.

Da Brat Is Out on Bail.....

Da Brat aka Shantae Harris was released from Dekalb county jail Thursday night after posting $50,000 bond.

The 33-year-old Harris got into an "altercation involving pushing" with a waitress at Studio 72, Jermaine Dupri's club on Lawrenceville Highway, said DeKalb County police spokeswoman Mekka Parish.

Harris was arrested early Thursday, a short time after the 1:20 a.m. incident.
"According to witnesses, after the pushing, the waitress walked away, and a short time later, that's when Harris picked up a bottle and hit the waitress in the face with it," Parish said.

Parish said the rum bottle broke, causing a "deep laceration" to the 23-year-old woman's cheek. The waitress also had swelling to her forehead, and was taken by friends to a local hospital.
